Forest River is my current favorite manufacturer! They all have their pros and cons, but Forest River seems to check all of the boxes for me.

We did as well, one that was a little more spruced up, slightly different in an even better way. It was so close overall! Very close, but not quite it for us!

Great video... good morning. I like the little " laptop desk " or food tray that they give you on the sofa at 12:25 into the video, but it needs to be a little bit bigger... At 15:00 into the video, that bathroom is very small for a Class A RV, I would have expected bigger... otherwise great RV
Good morning, and thank you! Agreed, I'd like to see something a little bigger or with some legs that flip out for more stability and an actual laptop space! Thankfully that bathroom at 15:00 is just the half bath and I would, personally, rather not have it and just have one really good bathroom or an office space there, storage room, something to that effect!
Quick question... I know you're not crazy about Thor, but what do you think of this model listed in RV trader ? I think the best part is... As far as I can tell... No slides ! Used 2022 Thor Motor Coach Class C RV Chateau 28A I also think used RV's are a much better value, >>> Used 2019 Coachmen Class C RV FREELANDER 27Q This RV only has 51 K miles, and is half the price of the first one that I mentioned ...
I think it comes down to price for me. The 28A is going for $99k brand new, so depending on miles/price, if that's right it might be a good buy! I have some Thor videos coming up as well, don't worry! They're two shorter units since I couldn't find longer ones like the 28A for you!
For the Freelander, I like that it's medium length, no slides, the price is okay I'd say, and I'd definitely want to check CCC and make sure that the added wallpaper isn't there to cover up liquid damage but is purely for decoration!
I hate one thing about RVs that you have to put the slides, in when you drive😢
The light blue stripe on the outside was a little weird on that first one. I think a darker blue would have looked better.
Up front has great visibility and really does look comfy. These are just too big and too high up for me. I’m not a fan of that drop down bunk set up either. I found the GT7 on the underside to be tacky, too.
I do really like the kitchen and the living room setup. What don’t you like about the sink? I really like the double sink. Hate those covers lol just gimme a drying rack and a cutting board lol. Also hate the covers on the stove, but LOVE that oven.
The position of the towel rack in that first bathroom was dumb. It looked like it was halfway over the sink. Totally agree that should be raised. Bedroom was decent. The shower surround looked nice but didn’t go with the rest of the shower. Those shower knobs were from the 80s 😂
Definitely not a fan with the slides in either.
I don’t remember if the first unit had the flip up counter extension, but I can’t imagine that would make the difference in the ccc. Weird.

I wasn't a fan of that blue either! And you know, I can find ways to use the double bowl sink, but I'd rather have a single sink because it makes it easier to wash a pan and such, less splashing around! It's a nitpicky thing, of course! 😂 I still don't know what the difference was in CCC but I'm sure there's an explanation SOMEWHERE out there. 🤷♂️
Question - are there larger motorhomes weatherized with super insulation and double pane windows? When viewing motorhomes at RV shows I always found the Georgetown model to be quite homey. Have you viewed any motorhomes with high capacity lithium systems yet?
Rarely will there be anything with real decent insulation and dual pane windows. You can DIY dual pane windows, but other than Bigfoot, a few select high end fifth wheels (non-production, expensive units) or big buses like a Prevost, Newells or the like you're not going to get anything worth talking about I'd say. Though Beaver Motorcoach, Monaco, and other high end units that are no longer in production may be worth a look as well, I know they did well with cabinetry, but I've never investigated their insulation because it's hard to get solid specs on any of them! Plenty of those out there that are being full-timed in and people love them, there must be a few reasons!
Hardly any lithium systems yet and frankly I'm glad that there isn't. The cost would be insane for a mfr to install those systems. It's half the price or less to upgrade yourself, from the few that I've seen as an upgrade, and for a lithium bank, that's such an easy upgrade, if you can use a wrench, that it's laughable how much they charge for those upgrades these days! However, if you're wanting a lithium bank and you find the right rig, I'm happy to throw some suggestions your way for how to DIY and save some money!

Reason is the shower door will slam forward and shatter
I would think it shouldn't if they just loved the lock to the other side as well. I know our doors don't budge at all while underway as long as they're locked in. I've also made the mistake of forgetting that lock and that was loud! No broken glass though thankfully!
Look nice, rather have real wood, light wood like douglas fir, etc. Don't care for laminated wood, peels.

@@kingdavidcoffee We've been in quite a few but never actually reviewed them. I tend to gravitate towards other brands because the Nexus RVs that we see come of VERY bland and low quality. A lot of plastics and trim not properly secured, cheap components and one that we saw in TX even had a leak from a skylight, right there on the dealer lot! I'll definitely try to get a review in of a Nexus when I find one next though, of course!
