There’s no platform in reality TV that’s bigger and more impactful than RHOA, not even M2M or The Traitors. Ppl have been asking Kandi to exit for a Phaedra return since season 10 & season 11.

RHOA is bigger than most and Phaedra is a reality star.
People keep saying Kandi can come back whenever time, but the thing is, would Bravo pay her the same as before? No, they won't. The show had to be hitting some heavy ratings for her to come back .
50 cent said in his book, he dropped his record label before they could drop him because he knew they didn’t value him the same. So, the writings were on the wall. The ratings were down and everyone is there to make money. Kandi couldn’t bring in the money for the network so she quit before the could quit fire her.

I mostly agree, except that I do not think Bravo was ever going to outright fire Kandi. I think they either brought up the possibility of Phaedra returning, or they offered Kandi the same friend contract they offered to NeNe and Cynthia, which resulted in both women leaving the show. Clearly for the show's survival, Kandi was going to have to work for her high salary or go.
No, she did not quit, she was not given a contract.
Kandi has said she can come back anytime, but will she come back with Phaedra there? Long overdue convo that Bravo has let Phaedra dodge.

the Dream Team if they were going to do a farewell season for Real Housewives of Atlanta season 17 the farewell season it will go in this order for the main cast we do NeNe Leakes Cynthia Bailey Porsha Williams Kenya Moore Phaedra Parks Kandi Burruss and Lisa Wu for The Supporting Cast we would do Sheree Whitfield Deshawn Snow Kim Zolciak and I would add on an addition of Malaysia Pargo and as far as friends returning to the show aka under studies if we could do Eva Marcille Shamari DeVoe Drew sidora Claudia Jordan and pooh from love and hip hop but I do not want to see Marlo Hampton on this show ever again that lady needs to be disqualified and to never have any kind of return or give any credit where credit is not due but considering Andy Cohen is completely washed his hands of Nene Kim and Phaedra that will never happen and even if Phaedra was asked to come back in which she never will candy would never let that happen and if that ever happened then candy would cut ties with the franchise

Bravo is NOW rocking with Phaedra and Kandi is gone! Kandi’s REAL issue was that Phaedra and Porsha were becoming extremely close (Fric and Frac) and Kandi, along with Shamea and others including Kenya, were becoming extremely ENVIOUS and JEALOUS! They ALL set Phaedra up, as well as Porsha (who Todd was obsessively lusting over), yet Phaedra NEVER stumbled or FAILED! She even single handily purchased the most expensive real estate property (over $2 million dollars) of ALL the RHOA cast members, while simultaneously UNEMPLOYED)!
Phaedra was the REAL star of RHOA, along with Nene and Porsha. Kandi, Kenya and Cynthia (the Alliance), played DIRTY and LOST in the end.
BTW, NEVER threaten your employer by giving them an ultimatum! They just may take you up on your offer one day, like Bravo did to Kandi! I don’t give a damn if she quit or was FIRED or FORCED-OUT with a low-ball offer….bottom line is Kandi is GONE and Phaedra will RETURN! Phaedra is ten times more entertaining, well-versed, and prettier than Kandi. Her fans can go bye-bye as well!

Kandi faced Phaedra woman to woman at the season 9 reunion when the entire drug 'n rape debacle unfolded. Kandi is fully within her right to refuse to work with or even cross paths with somebody that intentionally tried to destroy her brand and public image.
