The rule I use is 1 palm = 1 stem. Usually a bunch and half for a letter to be safe. Give or take depending on what style of double you use. I use the bigger head on the middle and the smaller heads on the edge. X
its poly ribbon and available in over 30 colours ... lord knows what the girl was using .. but she should have been using mossing pins on every pleat not just on every second or third ... you can buy ready pleated poly ribbon but its easy enough to box pleat off an ordinary plain poly ribbon roll ...look up box pleating tutorial if you cant buy ready made... ps dont follow this girl for flower arranging lord your flowers will look a mess ... look up other tutorials ... you should start with the central flower first a straight neat line of the biggest heads .... then fill in the smaller flowers down the sides last x good luck
