I just built a Tardis on Second Life, using this console room. And once I was finished, I did exactly that. I stuck my avitare in an arm chair and went to youtube and played this video. So anything is possible... from a certain point of view. Ouch, sorry to mix universes.
Fun fact! That is one of the songs listed on the jukebox in his TARDIS along with a bunch of other songs that have appeared in the show. Hopefully we'll get a play of it!
I am so Glad there is a full version of this song. I love to relax the way The Doctor does. A good book, A good drink, This song and of course. A bowl of Jelly babies.
@@plantainsame2049 actually I am alcohol intolerant and thus can not drink. But I know my history (they where favoured by the Romans) and I use them to drink Orange Juice (with the bits)
There is something so classy about this song, sat in a cosy Tardis console room with a cup of tea, jelly babies, a good book to read and this wonderful song playing on the record player, what could be finer? Id love to hear this song appear in the newest series.
This song.. How I captured my regret whole life. When I watch Doctor Who The Movie and listen this song, and the lyrics captured that. I miss my normal life.
LYRICS: I called out your name in a misty dream last night Saw that old smile that I miss It was a beautiful sight Your kiss was a flame Not the spark that somehow died And every warm embrace was real as all those tears I've cried Cuz my poor heart aches each time I awake knowing that you're not here But what can I do It's over for you And still my love won't disappear I called out your name and in my dream you held me tight Funny how things seem so right IN A DREAM INSTRUMENTAL BREAK Funny how things turn out right IN A DREAM
incidentally this tune was used briefly in the episode "The Devils Chord" when the Meastro Confronts the Doctor.. they play it briefly part on piano.... i love soft jazz and this is a lovely tune and a good memory :) all this song is missing is Johnathan Frakes on Trombone and the Late Nichelle Nicols dueting a cover :)

its so weird hearing this song without it repeating on “time”
I wish I had a TARDIS, I'd so just listen to this whilst having a cup of tea and reading like the 7th Doctor does in the Movie
Instablaster.
At the end the eighth doctor does as well.
Well he tries

I hear this is in the movie Holiday Heart & for years I could never figure out who sang this. Thank you for posting🤗
I was very confused, because it didn't get stuck on the word "time (time, time, time...)"
😂🤣😂🤣
Heard this song on the Young and the Restless today. Beautiful!!!
The Young and The Restless brought me here 🥰

I have been looking for this for decades...........
How did it take me this long to find you video
THANK YOU!!!
Lets not forget the doctor had just kind of commited genocide and destroyed a pocket dimension before the intro of the movie. Thank you expanded media
I like to think the second time it stuttered near the end of the movie, the Daleks meanwhile were assembling their attack force towards Gallifrey.
The 8th doctor lived a really long time only being rivaled by War 11 and 1:00 considering they all literally died of old age
That song beautiful
