I def give Pamela Rosa credit, she really pushes. A week or so back I watched the semi finals for Tampa pro AND SHE WAS IN IT COMPETING WITH THE GUYS. I’m curious if she’s the first female to ever do that

100k pelo hype, 70k por causa da vergonha que ficou neste formato. Da uma olhada em qualquer sls de 2014 ou 2015, aquilo sim era um formato descente!

I think they should change the scoring. 2 runs, and you have to keep 1 of those scores, and 4 best tricks, keeping top 4 scores over all, 1 being from the run. Seems most skaters don't really try during run and think of it as a throw away score. Having to keep a run score would add more excitement because they would actually have to try, and you would get the most consistent skater of the day on top, not just the one that got luckiest in best trick.
Rayssa's back tail is officially one of my favorites!

Also Geoff, one min later after after Keet Oldenbeuving's back board 270 shuv out score drops @ 37:39 "What's up judges?! That was a better score, that was a hard trick I thought".

É impossível não ser fã ou não torcer para Rayssa, uma menina humilde, com os pés no chão e que sabe que é a melhor e mesmo assim não muda a sua personalidade alegre e animada, ela merece tudo que está conquistando na vida e nos campeonatos também, se ganhar a SLS de novo daqui a 2 semanas vai ser um dos maiores feitos esportivos da história, vai ter ganho 3 etapas de 3 disputadas na SLS, e será campeã mundial com apenas 13 anos!!!! É obrigação de todo brasileiro torcer para que isso aconteça.

@@dedezera_ 8.5 não chega, no máximo 7, o big spin para um board de back é de certa forma um fluxo natural da trick, mas seria muito top ela acertar!
Aquela loirinha foi roubada vey, ela mandou um manobrão e ganhou 3.7, até os comentaristas acharam estranho...
E a Rayssa ganha um 6.8 com um backside tailslide. Nada contra, mas qual é a brisa???

@@lilovs9952 tbm acho, é só olhar a última manobra da rayssa, claramente o tail não encaixou no 50 50, e normalmente quando isso acontece o desconto de nota é PESADÍSSIMO, no masculino aconteceu parecido e os jurados enfiaram a mão. Ela merece e tal, mas não deixa de ser injusto, principalmente com a Pamela, tanto q no sls super crown de 2019 ela mandou um back boardslide pulando o gap e tirou 7,8

Pamela's first run was super weak. Only good thing was the huge front lipslide. Duran had the best first run.

That boardslide was mad nice and underscored. But that happens....the judges are only humans too. We all know how dope the trick was executed.
The same reason Felipe Gustavo will never win. Going big will always score higher even if it's the same goddamn tricks every time.

Não foi um 6,3. Mas também valia mais do que o 4,1 que ela precisava. Eu daria um 4,8/5, o que seria mais que o bastante pra passar
Além disso eu não gostaria nada da Nishiya ganhar a disputa (E não é pq sou brasileiro), e sim porque ela não fez literalmente nada o campeonato inteiro, caiu nas linhas e errou a maioria das tricks, e mesmo assim poderia ter ganhado por conta de uma nota. Em contra partida da Nakamura e Rayssa, que foram consistentes o tempo inteiro

Não é tudo as nota que é contada, é só as melhor. Aí, tipo, se a pessoa faz uma nota boa, uma nota ruim é eliminada e essa nota boa entra no lugar.

Brasileiro tem q aceitar a perder KKKKKKKKKKKKK as japonesas fizeram manobras mais difíceis, Rayssa errou, tem q aceitar. As japonesas d boa aceitando qualquer posição enquanto os br chorando ainda pelas olimpíadas

the scores were too high for rayssa's tricks. Some of the other girl's did more tech or difficult tricks but were given lower scores. Rayssa is great but the judges... not so much
Momiji teve um 6.1 num bs smith, e as outras meninas 5.8,5.9 a Rayssa fez no hubba azul que era maior e teve 6.1? É a principal manobra dela, o mais bonito da competição. E aí? A Pamela com um noseblunt tirar 6 foi palhaçada, ngm tinha dado, é uma das manobras mais difíceis. Em Salk Lake ela foi overscored naquele kickflip 8.5 foi muito, não merecia ter vencido.
@@otow27 tanto que na última manobra da Pamela os comentaristas falaram q provavelmente seria suficiente (7.7 pra 1 lugar) e falaram “é assim que se torna a campeã”, se até eles discordam das notas tem alguma coisa bem errada aí

Why did Pamela get 4th? She and Funa tied. And why did she get 5th for the super crown if she tied with Momiji?
She got 4th instead of 5th because her scores where better in the prelims. That's the tie breaker.
