Sagwa Miao in "Sagwa the Chinese Siamese Cat" is loosely like Kai Lan (from the Nick Jr TV show "Ni Hao Kai Lan"). Except for the siblings (Dongwa Miao and Sheegwa Miao) and parents (Mama Miao and Papa Miao), she has a grandfather by the same name. It's Yeh-Yeh Miao (with the same first name as Kai Lan's grandfather; also named "Yeh-Yeh"). Sagwa (like Kai Lan) has an animal friend. His name is Fu-Fu the bat. But both characters are Chinese girls (Sagwa and Kai Lan). Both also have a Chinese culture too. And from "Ni Hao Kai Lan" (Season 2 only), the 2 "Sagwa" episodes "The Moon Festival" and "Ba Do and the Lantern Festival" loosely mimic the "Ni Hao Kai Lan" episodes "The Moon Festival" and "The Lantern Festival".
Fun fact: The cub in this episode shares his name with one of the first two giant pandas in America (sent as a gift from China during the Nixon presidency).
Yeah it is. I remember watching Sagwa on Weekdays Afternoons on PBS Kids when I went to my Grandma's House. I used to run upstairs and change the channel to PBS in my Grandfather's room and watch this and Arthur
Really good one of my favorite 2000's tv shows
FuFu Got That Line From Batley on Eureeka's Castle. He Said: "I Meant To Do That."
Dongwa: "Takes more than a little storm to scare me"
(Boom, boom)!
Dongwa hides under his covers
Me: You wanna bet?
Steven Connelly, I love how Dongwa thinks he's tougher than he really is. That's one part I remember from some boys when I was in Middle School.
Aussie Zambarau Tell me about these boys, were they like Dongwa?
I Agree with the 22 CZcams Likes, I Used To Watch That Show When I Was Young Back in my Days. :-)

7:00-7:01 😡 Not cool you guys, not cool!
This episode felt like a SpongeBob Season 2 episode because of the animation, the character renders, jokes and the background.
Kittens The baby Panda just wanted to find his Momma and wants to go home to live free and in the wild
Can giant 🐼 really climb a tree?

What if Dongwa was voiced by Mr. Lawrence?
ClassicBarneyFan 1996 OMFG 😑
Then Dongwa would want to be the bad guy, and cause chaos and not listen to his parents
@@thomascarr7488 Not if he was like Larry.
DW from Arthur and George from Mona the Vampire
I like how the people at the award ceremony think a baby panda running around the palace is just a normal sight.
A baby belongs with its mom. They might have wonder if mom was nearby.
7:01 aww you poor thing

2:07
Dongwa: Saw it huge!!
