"Grief is an strange thing you know, it can heal you when you least expected, but sometimes when you think you're fine it can hit you out of nowhere. And that's ok because that's what it is, you can't runaway from it, as Dan say 'the only way to get out is through'. You have to face it, it's difficult for all of us day to day, obviously we're playing Tom's songs, the album is about Tom and our loss but I know that we're not the only people in this room have gone through losing someone they love, family member, it's obiously unique because we're a band but the feelings are the same wheter it's a family member or a band member. But the truth is grief is very painful... I don't maybe cry as often as I should but the thing is when you feel it's coming you gotta let it out, don't let that energy inside, for anyone that has lost somebody close to them or is still suffering with grief, because I know that it really goes away, you can find happiness, you can find light, and we're just extremely grateful to still being a band, still we stood on this stage and I just want to thank every single one of you for your support"

"Throughout the last few years, it's been crazy. I've tried on this tour to not always finish it like this but obviously when your emotions are so high it's important to just go with them. Over the last few years, not only has the man stood behind me pulled us all through and created an incredible album where he showed the same vulnerability, he's also managed to be there for every single member of this band, this crew and his family. As if that wasn't enough, he's actually become a dad as well so congratulations. So the rest of us need to hurry up so we can get baby Architects on the way. Josh has already started. Speaking of Josh, we wouldn't be here, we wouldn't be a fucking band if it wasn't for Josh, so please make some noise for him. Make some noise for the incredible Canadian that stands on this side of me, the man that can take jokes like no other. And the best human in the fucking world, please make some noise for Alex D right now"

"Just going to hijack Sam's microphone really quickly because Sam does this thing every night where he gives props to us guys and Sam really has the hardest job of all of us and he has to sing some difficult words. Tom didn't write songs about breaking up with his girlfriend, unfortunately, and nor did I. It's a difficult job to come up here and sing songs about your friend contemplating his own mortality, about your friend facing his own death. It's difficult to come up here and sing about losing that same person every single night. So the person on the stage that deserves the biggest round of applause is Mr Samuel Carter. You made him cry! He needed that. Thanks"

Man that’s hurts to watch. Imagine if you had to stand in front of thousands of people and show your vulnerability.

I think the best thing they get back is the backup and cheers from the audience.

Been going to concerts for 10 years, this was definitely the most emotional moment I’ve had the pleasure to be part of. The dedication and emotion the band put in their performance was on a whole different level here.
These are the moments that remind you there’s more to music than just notes and lyrics.
Thanks to Architects for having to courage and strength to keep performing and for sharing a positive and encouraging message to the people that are open to receive that message.

I always come to that conclusion, that music is the most raw, genuine and pure art... nice to know u notice the same about this band, I've kept my eyes on them since daybreaker, and came to search who was the lyricist, Tom was the kind of musician I always looked up, and became something like an idol for me... Ive gone to their show in 2015, he not played(for obvious reasons) we wouldve known why, some months later. All our gods have a special place for me as his last piece, and I always looked up to him, but mad props to Dan writting an incredible album, holy hell is a 11 singles album and he just started writting... hope the future holds the best to these dudes.

I know you've been to their concert last year 1/02/2018 as well, which was basically the same (apart from the older setlist and not the new album of course). You really had the same emotions there as well. For me, personally, it was more emotional than this one. Maybe you're used to seeing the same people in AB all the time and you have a better bond, whereas it felt this audience didn't always know the songs... Both were amazing concerts though and I'll always be the first to buy tickets if they're touring in Belgium :)

@@LaurensDebruyne I personally felt more connection to the band in Antwerp than last year in Brussels, but that also has to do with the fact that I didn't know their music as good back then. The audience in Brussels was indeed different though, louder and more active.
But to me it felt like the band was performing on another level in Antwerp, it was the fourth time I saw them (first time being in 2012) and this was easily the most memorable performance to me.

@@EyeBlinked I can totally understand that. Just curious, 2012, does that mean Pukkelpop? ;)

@@LaurensDebruyne No, supporting Rise Against in AB. :) Other times were Graspop 2017 and AB 2018.

You know, now i'm listening Architects for a while, and at the start I said to myself: "Ah thats just a cool band..."
And after that sentence, they gave out the Holy Ghost....
That was the point, the switch in my mind...
I watched it, and it was about Tom, It was about the suffering of the pain in the band.
I minded, and i got the point, like Holy fuck, they are NOT JUST A BAND,
They are a fucking movement, a fucking family, The Architects is the best band ever in history, not for just their music.
    for their Heart.
Love you guys, i got for you so much respect.
