    Your tutorials are SO concise and clear! I have a SELPHY and really like it. I have also considered purchasing the Eason PM. I came across this video when I did a search for comparisons. However what I loved the most, is that I also learned how to use features which I was unaware existed in apps I have used for a long time!! Thank you sincerely, I am most appreciative!!

    OMG Laura...WOW What a Spectacular Tutorial!!! You really have given the best tutorial for the Cannon on Selphy That I've ever watched....I do have it and haven't used yet any of the special features...but sure will now!! I do LOVE that paper as it definitely is indestructible as I've gotten adhesive on it...spilled coffee on it and you can't rip it you have to cut it with a sharp blade. I can't thank you enough for your Detailed tutorial for all the features...can't wait to play!! Also Outstanding Epson Picturemate printer tutorial and If at anytime i need another photo printer or want an additional photo printer I would get this one!! I truly hope that both the companies of these printers see your video because you do represent them Magnificently!!! Thanks for all you do and the way you do it!! YOU SO ROCK!!

      Glad it was helpful, Shelli! Let me break it down: Canon is around $100 up front, but the prints are more expensive over time. The prints are heartier though and can handle a wipe down if splatter gets on them. Epson is over $300 up front, but the prints are much cheaper over time. However, the Epson prints do not wipe down, they are like typical prints.

      You're quite welcome, I'm always happy to help! I use the Canon for mini albums, December Daily, or any out of the pocket project that is going to be handled. Agreed! I think the PM is better for regular scrapping and the prints are definitely cheaper than the Selphy. However, the Selphy prints are better for mini albums and out of the pocket scrapping because they don't show finger prints and clean off easily. Glad it was helpful!

    • @lauraalbertscrafts
      @lauraalbertscrafts  Před 3 lety +1

      You're quite welcome, always happy to help! Yes! When you open the Selphy App, go to "Selphy Photo Layout," then "Select & Print." Add your photo, it will show your photo zoomed in, so click on the photo and select "Trim" at the bottom. Using two fingers slide in to each other to minimize the photo back to it's original size within the print area. This will print with a white border at the top and bottom, but the photo will be a square.

      You're welcome, Susan! Always happy to help! Yes, I send them to Persnickity Prints because I really like the print quality I get from them. I always make sure to do all my photo editing (including making sure my photos are cropped to the sizes I want them to be) is done ahead of time so I can just upload the whole file of photos at once. It makes for extra effort on the front end, but the ease of use on the site is so worth it to me. I have used Snapfish and Shutterfly in the past and they are okay, about the same quality as the pharmacy or Walmart.

    Thanks for sharing. I bought the Epson PM400 in late December and love it. I agree the paper makes a huge difference. I have some old Kodak ultra photo paper but because it’s probably 10 years old did not print well. I’ve been using the Staples ultra premium photo paper in matte or satin and the photos look fantastic. P. S. I hope you’ve repaired or replaced your power cord, that could be a fire hazard.

    It doesn’t appear that either 3x4 collage option doubles the border in between the two photos. When cutting them apart it looks like the borders wouldn’t match then. Is that the case? If so, how do you combat that?
