great! I cant believe what comments are made here. Why do people not appreciate homemade stuff? its so much healthier and cleaner than what you can buy in supermarkets. no pesticides etc.....

Thank you Pierre, I was just yesterday talking to a man from Brittany who grows 6 acres of apple orchard to make apple juice and cider from, a very nice man.

Help. The wood will only go down a certain amount before the rod you are turning can’t turn round anymore because it wants to go lower than the wooden frame . I hope that makes sence. So is this a design floor in the press or are you just not supposed to go down that low?

I bought a press like this and it was very unsafe to use. The metal bar in the middle got rusted and got into my juice. Also, the red paint, when turning to press the juice, the red paint fell into my juice. The pieces of wood that placed inside, the wood pieces got into my juice. I don’t recommend this product and suggest that it should be made of a different material that does not rusted as well as no paint, no wood.

Spero che traducono in inglese, sarei curioso di sapere in quali contee, della gran bretagna, si beve piu sidro, e in quali si beve piu birra.

Thank you for the demonstration, loved it. Could you be so kind to tell me where you purchased everything for the fruit press?

Do you cut the wormy parts out of the apples first?

I think the worm taste is his special ingrediance :-D

You can drink it as it is or ferment it to make cider

Would have loved to see the mash in the bottom of the press after you were done. One step missing, what does the mash look like and can you use it for anything.

pushing that wooden stick right above the grinder sounds like a bad idea.

great little press. what is its capacity. I like the insert bag too. should work for grapes I imagine like a treat!

+Zenon Kolacz Hi, That particular press is a 12ltr. We also do a 6 and 18ltr. Yes the bag is very handy for catching larger pieces that come out although it is not a necessity, i usually just use a sieve at the spout which serves the same purpose. Yes it is ideal for grapes.

  • @SK.The-Machine-Designer

what a hygienic method are using this for wine making? (you have kept the pressing wood on the lawn, how this would be hygienic

  • @samiarti

If a grinder requires you to hand quarter the apples first isn’t that a bit of a joke? To make things worse the pieces coming out of the grinder look big and chunky. The extraction efficiency must be worst case scenario😢

With 4 more wooden blocks you could have got more juice out.

Can the rod with the screw thread be removed from the base or is it fixed in?

That has to be a strong bit of wood your pressing down on there. If that snapped you'd hav no fingers left.

Very suspicious cut in the video at 2:43 , just before the man says "the juice should start coming out" (which it doesn't) then it skips forward to having the juice in the bucket. Must be censoring the extreme effort it takes (if it's even possible) to produce juice from this press.
