- Sorry I've been MIA for so long - I just launched the open beta phase for my facebook videogame and ever since I have been swamped with endless amounts of work!
Here is Saber's Edge from FFXIII by Masashi Hamauzu. It's something I've actually practiced, not really improvised at this point except for details here and there. Learned this one by ear...it's fun to play! But rather challenging - still haven't gotten very good at some of the passages.
In addition to programming my game, I composed its music - would you guys be interested in hearing some of it, or should I make more piano improvisations? I'll leave it up to you. =)

I may be a bit late, but this is absoluetely beautiful. I actually shed a tear due to the beauty of this arrangement. Incredible job.
If you ever feel inspired, you should consider putting out a score to this arrangement. It's the only arrangement out there that really conveys the feel of the original piece. You'd be doing us all a great service! Thanks for the great piece, in any case!

@daigoro789 haha thanks man - yeah, at first I wondered how I was going to play those parts without cutting out the higher register...had to bring in the left hand for help - took some practice.
I keep coming back to this video because your rendition is simply the best and most accurate to the original song. I would love it if you ever decided to reupload this in higher quality.

Ok I know this video is really old but I was wondering if you had any sheets for this. Cause the only sheet music I can find are for more simplified arrangements. This is the closest to how the song actually sounds in game.

yay a new upload and woot it's ff13 music! probably my fav from the soundtrack, and this is one amazing take on it, it is so difficult to do justice to on the piano. and cool to see some practiced/prepared stuff.
