What’s really cool is that they won an American Music Award for this song this past week and also preformed it. This was 2022 so if this was on their 2017 album , I love the fact that people still like their rendition of this song. I personally love it.

Their songs are excellent but their live performances always add something special. You can watch them sing the same song multiple times and it always feels fresh or different. I would love to see you react to their performance of For Your Love at 1Live, but some classics are La Paura del Buio (Eng Sub) live at Radio Italia, and their vevo acoustic performance of Torna a Casa which is from their first album. I loved your enthusiasm, it's exactly how I feel when I see them. These guys have a real talent and they work so hard at it because their dedication is to their art first above any kind of fame etc.. Watch everything you can find of theirs- you will not be disappointed.

Thank you so much for taking the time to react to thi band and please allow me a bit of backstory. The band was formed in 2015 by Victoria De Angelis (bass) and Thomas Raggi (guitar) who at the time were respectively 15 and 14, and who had met many years before as attending the same middle school, they recruited singer Damiano David, at the time 17, whom she already knew from a previous band experiece, and last through a Facebook ad Ethan Torchio as drummer. They started as buskers playing in the street of Rome "Via del Corso" while studying and writing their very first compositions. They attended and won a local contest and finally in 2017 they decided to audition for the Italian XFactor, they were selected as contestant and the show aired from September 'til December 2017. During these months the Italian audience could discover, through the weekly episode, the incredible potential of these kids as performers but also their innate ability to leave their mark on any song they perform. I don't know how it works in the US but on the Italian XFactor each episode the contestants should perform a rearranged cover and by the end of the show the contestants who have reached the final are granted by Sony an EP with all the songs perfomed: the cover Beggin' is coming from that EP, as well as their original song "Chosen". All their XF performances including the audition are on YT in case you wish to watch them, it could be fun to watch them being kids (at the time 16,17,17,18), how good they were on stage. Since then they have been performing allover Italy and several European gigs as well, publishing 2 albums, the first in 2018 where they experiment with different music genres, still looking for their sound and band identity, the second, more mature and "rock", this year after having won Italian Sanremo Festival , which gave them the right to represent Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam. They have basically grown together, from kids to young adults, studying, dedicating themselves to improve their skills and learning to bring into their compositions all the influences of the different music backgrounds they come from. In the end they are 4 very good friend loving eachother and having much fun playing together, which shows when playing live and I think is one of the keys of their success! Sorry for the long comment, I was carried away, but these days we all feel a bit "proud parents" of these guys. :DDD

I have now spent an entire day watching everything I could find about them on YT.
I cannot get enough. They sound SO good, look SO good, perform SO incredibly well! Incredible, through and through.
They have given this 50 year old hope that music is not in fact dead.

The impressive here is that he achieved this level of control, the winding falcettos and the absolute levelling of his voice (he doesn't falter a single note). He is barely 22 today and he has been doing this since 2017 professinaly sort of speak... which makes him barely 18 years old... it's amazing. And, same with the rest of the members of the group that are even younger than him. Guitar, drums, bass... all teens. It's amazing to watch and euphoric to listen to them.
I love how he's just a visual representation of me watching this performance! They're my favorite, and I'm so excited to what they are going to do next!
They play rock, they sing rap, they dress pop...everything is the opposite of everything, as you can see from the lyrics of the other songs..The performances are full of energy and passion with Damiano's voice that is a sweet scratch, both in Italian and in English..Not only has rock been resurrected, but as Sergio Leone revisited the Western, Maneskin take it to another level. Art has no genre and no boundaries...and talent always wins.

Måneskin made their debut in 2017 in the Italian version of X-Factor and Begging was one of the songs that was given them by their coach to perform on stage.

They are 20/22 years old and already professional, after the LP in 2017 they published two albums. The last one in particular, Teatro D'ira, is amazing. They are talented, hard worker, but also chaotically funny and crazy (they where behaving here on US tv lol) and Damiano stage presence is 🔥
My advice is to watch first their Eurovision Grand Finale, that's how Europe fall in love with them (in Italy we were already in love since 2017 lol).

This is one cover they did during X-Factor, I think it was their second week entry, so it's been done in a week. During X-Factor they produced and released their first EP ("Chosen") with the songs they performed week after week. Being selfproduced, it's very low budget and low production value. That was in november 2017, 4 years ago. Beggin' became n.1 on spotify global this summer. In this performance you can tell how much they improved over 4 years. Yet, it's the low quality production version that made it to n.1, which is amazing.

You have to see the "Zitti e buoni" performance of Eurovision 2021 contest, that they won only few months ago. That is the perfect performance of the year. And the "Paura del buio" live performance, and over all "For your love": their own songs, lik so many others, because they write and compose in italian or in english the same.

It’s refreshing to see a cool band with a very good singer 👍🍀I watched the Eurovision this year and they deserved to winn. It was held in Rotterdam the Netherlands this year.
Actually Victoria is a part Danish, so their band name Måneskin is a Danish word for moonshine, it was her choosing that the bands name should be it.
Damiano often does 10 secs notes and I didn't expect one for Beggin', amazing surprise! Vengo Della Luna (cover) is really amazing and surprising and La Paura Del Buio (theirs) is phenomenal from begin to finish with a 10 secs note 👌
