@@herbenevolence_oxo we can make it. Finding out through personal struggles and experience, that God welcomes home the prodigal son or daughter when they are sorry and want to change. I feel like that son who ran home to his father and he said, “I’m no longer worthy to be called your son.” But instead his father tells the servants to get the best robe to put on him and to celebrate. Instead of shame put more on him, his father was so happy that his son came to the realization of his sin and came home. That has really been speaking to me. We just need to keep our eyes on Jesus each day. One day we will be made perfect, but until then…God knows we are weak, but He is strong.

This song was perfect for me today, I have come to realize how prideful I have become and was beating myself up. This song was a great reminder of how much God loves me, forgives me, and desires to shape me into something more because of His great sufficient grace. The timing was perfect, as God always is and thankful to be reminded that He has plans for me and it is in His strength, not my own, that He will be known, seen and glorified. Thank you Lord for Your Faithfulness when we are not and being enough, even when we don't recognize it. Glory to God on high.

This song has just led me to rededicate my life to God. I was driving back to my apartment and realized I had no idea where I am going to spend eternity anymore. I love this song and the Scripture behind it. Yes, I have had to be picked up many times. Each time is sweeter than before. I have 2 chronic diseases and they are not easy to live with. I pray God will alone will have the glory in my sufferings. I have been home bound the last 4+ years. Hard for a people person who once was a RN and full of boundless energy!!! Now I pray for others when my strength permits. I want to do so many things, but the strength just is not there --My trust is in the Lord!!! God will guide me to do what He wants me to do and give me the strength to do so---just as He has done in the past.
