- In today's video I am sharing how I pack and organize our van for the 12-13 hour drive to Disney! I used to think I would NEVER want to drive to Disney because flying is so much faster but I have learned to love being able to pack what I want and have access to our own vehicle once we are down there! Hello Becky. Looks like you have a Toyota van. We just traded our mini van in for a Toyota Highlander. I absolutely loved my mini van. Vans are so roomy. Don't get me wrong I love my Highlander but I will miss the room I had in my mini van. I hope you and your family have a safe trip and a wonderful time when you get there. Great ideas
We have about the same drive time that you do. What time do you usually leave? Do you drive at night? We have done both (drive all day and drive all night). There are benefits and drawbacks to both. Which do you prefer?
We usually leave between 10-12 at night. I like the trip there because most of it is at night so there's less traffic and the girls sleep quite a bit of the way. On the way home it's all daylight and I hate that! Nobody wants to sleep and it seems like the longest trip ever! lol
My hubby is easy....thsirts and carpenter shorts and sports shorts. I can roll it up and make our packing compact. I told my daughter and hubby that we are wearing hats at Disney so we got baseball type hats. I would love to get a travel fridge. I am using some 31 bags to organize what food we are taking. We plan on going to the grocery store when we arrive as we are renting a house with 3 other families and we will be cooking alot. We plan on staying the night at a hotel in GA as we are driving down from the Nashville TN area.
Car fridges really aren't very expensive and they are so convenient! I hope you have a great trip!

Becky, totally off topic but would you ever do an updated skincare routine? I was curious if you still used your body shop toner, what do you use in the morning, etc.... your skin looks so awesome. Loved your Disney videos! Our four can't wait til we go again! They are Disney obsessed lol! Already made them your Disney coaster for their bedrooms.
Hello! Thanks so much! I would be open to doing that but I'm kind of in the process of using some things up and trying to find some new things. I still use and love the Acure Seriously Glowing Facial Serum. They renamed it from Firming to Glowing but it's the same thing. I am on the hunt for a new toner but I haven't found one yet. Oh how did the coasters turn out?
aplacetonest they came out great!!! My husband and kids absolutely loved them! I was able to find the same coasters at the dollar tree!

we went In nissan maxima not a huge trunk I use one med rolling bag a toiletry bag a small beach bag with 5 people. I always have left over room and we go disney 5days and beach 3-4days.wish I had a camera so I could make video on how I do it.
Can you use your phone to film it?
aplacetonest my phone is so old the video would be poo poo lol. I do have istagram pics amber meade-horne binzany is the name on there like youtube. I have pics of last disney packing extravaganza. I organize on rack by day then roll all the clothes unles its dressy then I fold and put on top of the rolled stuffs. I do have small beach/swim bag seperate from the small rolling one
do you drive for a whole straight 12 hours?Or do you sleep then drive for a other 5 hours?
Yes, we drive for the whole 12 hours straight. My husband works the day we leave and comes home and takes a nap and we usually leave between 10-12 at night. On the way home the entire trip is during the day which I hate! :)
