To the fans of Tangerine Dream worldwide. Here is a video from 1980, which was broadcast by Italian television at that time. It shows excerpts from the concert in Bologna on October 20, 1980. 2 short interviews in Italian are inserted in between, which was created by the producers. The video material concerning the music is exactly the same as it was already uploaded here on CZcams by other people. With this video here are as said also still interview passages thereby. Unfortunately, however, only in Italian.
The video is not from my own collection, I publish the material only to make it available to the many fans of Tangerine Dream from the golden age of this band and not for commercial purposes. If ANYONE wants to make complaints regarding ownership, please feel free to do so using the comment function here. So that I am informed. Then I will delete the video of course. Thanks!

Very nice footage ! Thanks for uploading it. Froese/Franke/Schmoelling : the best line-up in my opinion ! A shame that the director chose to edit random video shots without synchronizing them with the audio track... (apart for the last sequence with Froese on guitar)
At the beginning of the video it is the actual music of the concert with pictures of the soundcheck followed by scenes of the audience during the entrance. But I think after the first interview excerpt it was already "syncron" and not only from Froese's guitar playing. If you look closely so at 11:20 when Franke plays I think it is real, I think. Thanks for your this time praising comment, joke! ;-)
@@theodorrand After looking closely at 11:20 I'm really sure that the video is not in sync. C.Franke seems to play at the same beat than the soundtrack, but the chord changes don't match. I'm a keyboard player.
@@hansvonk.8236 Okay. Nevertheless, it's good that these recordings exist. Even if there are always these criticisms that it is not "live". Froese himself admitted once in 1982 on German television that much in the instruments and devices is pre-programmed and the musicians call it up by buttons and keys as needed. Probably at that time it was only possible to present this kind of music on stage. Who knows...

Ni se dan idea en el exterior , lo que siento en 60 años poder escuchar un relato del Señor Edgar Froesse! Para un Argentino que nunca se editó un Lp cassette o CD de Tangerine Dream en donde está música es para muy muy pocos y si la compartís te contestan cualquier cosa .
Asique ver un recital en italia y entender algo tan breve pero significativo para mí que fueron parte de mi adolescencia en gobiernos no democráticos. Su música para los pocos Argentinos que la conocemos era libertad sin nada de agregados era tal cual dice Frenke. Atmósferas entendibles y sonidos únicos y espaciales que llevan a lo onírico y a viajar en el tiempo y espacio

Wow...incredible! Surprise! You have TV specials I've never seen in my life, over and over! Again I'm amazed to see them onstage! Maybe because I never had the chance to go to a concert! As they were in Zürich in 2015,so near to my old home, I got terribly sick, and couldn't walk because of Crps type (Morbus Sudeck). I was even writing them to find help at the gig, but it didn't work. I had to stay at home, knowing I'll never see them live! Maybe you understand why I get so emotional having your uploads! Many thanks for this, it's splendid! 😊✊
Yes, it's amazing that more film and concert material has been made outside of Tangerine Dream's home country. In Germany it was more difficult for the band to reach the audience with their music. Yes, it is nice to see the old formation at work. The instruments at that time are very impressive. Good that there are and were people who have saved the video material for future generations.

@Laserdisc Dream Well, in the momentary circumstances, we all must go through, I guess I'm fine! Could be worse, though! We can't change flat, ours is so old, no radiators, it's awful cold in the moment, and I wouldn't even note that, if there isn't the strong pain it sets free! We had a troubled time this year, happy we passed good, more or less! My daughter grows and grows, is incredibly cute, but also a little confused of all changes I suppose, she has days without sleep, then we both get a little grinchy, hahaha! But apart of daily issues, Covid and the political changes I admit, we handle all as good as possible! So at least, I'm maybe better than many people, because I know how precious our life's are, our togetherness! And I don't let everything get into my mind, many are depressive meanwhile or explosively contain or spread anger & frustration wich has no sense! I look forward, and I think, we must take back control on our lives, then we feel better! And how are you...quiet a while since we talked...are you fine, and how goes your things?
