I think the darker shades WILL leave a more brown tinted stain on the lips. Because of the previous, more red based, applications, your lips were already stained with a shade of red, therefore, the brown stain couldn't actually "grip". I hope all that made sense 😜 We love doing things the "wrong way" - it's usually the way it happens in real life 🤣🤣 The blush called "Worth" really reminds me of the "Love" shade, except the Love is a slightly darker. The formula of these is not a lip oil at all. They are a glossy lip tint formula that is very popular in Korea. They were even made in Korea. If you are looking for a balmy, cushiony lip oil, then pass on these. If you are not familiar with the K-beauty formulas, this is how they work. When you apply them, even out the color with the applicator or by rubbing your lips together (whatever you like to do with products). Then, DO NOT RUB YOUR LIPS AFTER APPLICATION. Let the product sit and it will form a watery film. Rubbing your lips together throughout the day will make the glossy layer disappear faster. If you swatch them on your hand you can see the film forming better. The formula of the Rare products is similar to Romand dewyful water tints but the Rare have a stronger staining effect. I personally think the Rare lip tint looks smoother on my lips than the Romand. Hope this helps.

I find that the Sigma F15 duo fiber brush is perfect for picking up the blush from my hand and applying to the face. Light, circular motions work as well but that's a great tip to use a stippling brush like that. I was always in fear of picking up too much until I started using that brush. The last lip stain was my favorite but you're right how they look kind of similar once removed. These weren't even on my radar so thank you!
I like the fact that they stain, too, mean I don't have to constantly reply. It definitely does have a tingling feeling. I have happy going to pick up the blush and honesty in the oil.

All the shades were gorgeous, but Delight was my favourite but this is of course because it's Rose Brown and I'm a cool toned lover that loves Brown lips shades.

Stila came out with a new lip stain and is similar to the ones you tested today. I got the shade ‘Michelle’ which is a brick red/maroon color and boy oh boy did it stain my lips. I was able to apply a lip balm a few hours later and the color was still there. Anyway, the system in which it is delivered is different but good. It almost looks like a calligraphy pen making it easy to line the lips perfectly. Also, I’m looking for a new warm colored cream blush, I may grab one of the colors you tried today, they look beautiful.

They feel like the blistex tingle that's short lived. I tried this out for my 12 hour shift today. I had to reapply throughout the day and really dried out my lips and they are burning at the end of my day. I bought the color happy and it just stained around the edge of my lips like a liner. I do have really dry lips normally and I was hoping these would hydrate.
Funny I just posted on someone elses video that there was a missed marketing opportunity. If they called it a lip oil stained I would think people would be more interested. But to your point, some people won’t like that. So I guess pros and cons of name. But I think lip oil stains is better name.

I’m a nude light pink girl myself and I tried hope but I absolutely hated it on me. It made my lips feel super dry after about 45 minutes being on. Check out the new Mario lip product in the shade “soft blush” gorgeous baby pink color. “Soft nude” is also beautiful not concealer lip it’s a nude/light brown!

I am so shocked they’re marketing these as a balm or treatment vs a stain. The staining quality of the product seems like the identifying factor rather than it being a balm. Maybe they didn’t think stains were trending enough.
Unfortunately I didn't like the lip oils at all. I got Honesty and I wanted the nude brown shown online and I felt like it was red brown. And it was not moisturizing as its supposed to be an oil. It fully dries into the cracks of the lips. And I wanted a tint not a stain.
Yeah, these are marketed very different than what they are. I didn’t find them necessarily drying, but not moisturizing throughout the day. Once the gloss is faded the moisturizing feeling is gone
They are the dewy finish and worth is supposed to be a dupe for the CT wand in pillow talk but not matte a dewy finish . They need to make these part of the permanent line not limited. I got them as soon as they launched I got the notification at 12 am on the 29 th. The easiest way is to apply it ( a dot ) to the palm of ur hand u can even mix the shades I mix hope and encourage all the time a dot of each rub my brush in it on my hand cover the brush tap off like on the back of the hand and and tap on the face it's easy to control the pigment that way I never dot it on but I think I told u my trick . I didn't order the lip oils I just wasn't sure about them and wanted to see other thoughts and them on I don't like super bright or dark lips and I don't want them sticky or to sink in lip lines. I hated the Tarte juicy plump things everyone loves they dried my lips out and made them burn .
I don’t like dark colors or bright colors I’m a nude or baby pink or peachy girl so I tried these in the shade Hope bc it looked the lightest but I hated it on me. It also made my lips feel very dry which is the opposite of what it’s supposed to do
I think the lip stain colors were not totally accurate because your lips were already very stained and darkened by the prior shades! I'm guessing that is why the stain from the orange shade Joy appeared to have a bit of a pink tone, maybe it was the residual pink shade you tried on before it.
I do agree with that! I think I mentioned something about it in the video, but those won’t come off with any makeup remover. Maybe with some oil based one

They are the dewy finish and worth is supposed to be a dupe for the CT wand in pillow talk but not matte a dewy finish . They need to make these part of the permanent line not limited. I got them as soon as they launched I got the notification at 12 am on the 29 th. The easiest way is to apply it ( a dot ) to the palm of ur hand u can even mix the shades I mix hope and encourage all the time a dot of each rub my brush in it on my hand cover the brush tap off like on the back of the hand and and tap on the face it's easy to control the pigment that way I never dot it on but I think I told u my trick . I didn't order the lip oils I just wasn't sure about them and wanted to see other thoughts and them on I don't like super bright or dark lips and I don't want them sticky or to sink in lip lines. I hated the Tarte juicy plump things everyone loves they dried my lips out and made them burn .
I don’t like dark colors or bright colors I’m a nude or baby pink or peachy girl so I tried these in the shade Hope bc it looked the lightest but I hated it on me. It also made my lips feel very dry which is the opposite of what it’s supposed to do
I think the lip stain colors were not totally accurate because your lips were already very stained and darkened by the prior shades! I'm guessing that is why the stain from the orange shade Joy appeared to have a bit of a pink tone, maybe it was the residual pink shade you tried on before it.
I do agree with that! I think I mentioned something about it in the video, but those won’t come off with any makeup remover. Maybe with some oil based one
