OMGosh! You're explanations are so easy to understand. Love the "mango" explanation. I now understand a lot more of how renin is produced by the reduction in blood pressure!! Thank You, this will help me so much in my Nursing Exams. Very much appreciated

Most of the Sodium is reabsorbed in the kidney tubules.
There are Sodium sensing cells called as macula densa lining the tubule at the junction of DCT and thick Loop of Henle.
Special muscle cells ling the afferent arteriole is called Juxtaglomerular Granular Cells. These cells lie between macula densa and Polkissen cells
Together, the Polkissen cells, JG cells and macula densa constitute JG(Juxtaglomerular apparatus). They produce Renin.
When there is blood loss, renal perfusion is less. And movement of fluid through the tubule is slow. So there is more Sodium is absorbed. So less sodium comes to macula densa. Macula densa produces NO which activates JG cells and JG cells produce major proportion of renin.
Whenever Blood pressure falls down, like during blood loss, carotid sinus signals CNS
