I'm a Nursing student and I love these videos the explanations are awesome. I really appreciate them.
Glad you liked them. Stay blessed. :)
OMGosh! You're explanations are so easy to understand. Love the "mango" explanation. I now understand a lot more of how renin is produced by the reduction in blood pressure!! Thank You, this will help me so much in my Nursing Exams. Very much appreciated
Thank you for your love and support. :) May you be blessed with knowledge, prosperity, love and happiness, always. We wish you success and happiness in every walk of life and good luck in your future endeavors. Regards, Dr. Najeeb Team
even if my english is not perfect, it´s still the best source of physiology info I´ve ever found. It sounds so clearly and simple, next to a few diagrams, which made our professor.. Thanks so much from Czech republic
Dr. Najeeb you have helped me so much. I am studying to be a Paramedic and your videos will get me through the course with no problems.
Thank you, much appreciated!
Amazing
Wished only if Dr. Najeeb realized that there is a creator for all these miracles in the human body not the nature.
Mangoes as example .... I'm blown away. What a genius!
Professor Najeeb is the best! He has a way to always explain himself, something that not all professors have; in fact, it's very rare.
Thank you for your love and support. :) May you be blessed with knowledge, prosperity, love and happiness, always.

This video has been soooo educational and entertaining. I'm watching just before taking my comprehensive final and wish I had found it earlier. So helpful and easy to comprehend information that I could NOT seem to grasp before. Thank you. :)
Yes yes yes, it's all sticking!!! Amazing
Most of the Sodium is reabsorbed in the kidney tubules.
There are Sodium sensing cells called as macula densa lining the tubule at the junction of DCT and thick Loop of Henle.
Special muscle cells ling the afferent arteriole is called Juxtaglomerular Granular Cells. These cells lie between macula densa and Polkissen cells
Together, the Polkissen cells, JG cells and macula densa constitute JG(Juxtaglomerular apparatus). They produce Renin.
When there is blood loss, renal perfusion is less. And movement of fluid through the tubule is slow. So there is more Sodium is absorbed. So less sodium comes to macula densa. Macula densa produces NO which activates JG cells and JG cells produce major proportion of renin.
Whenever Blood pressure falls down, like during blood loss, carotid sinus signals CNS
You make studying for my nursing exam fun!! Thank you! Great teacher : )
You are welcome. Stay blessed. :)
