That is a nice size cabin. They never used to have a solo Oceanview cabin.
Right, Marsha! They just added 1000 solo interior, ocean view, and balcony cabins across their fleet earlier this year. It's definitely a plus for solo cruisers. Much more spacious, and they have access to the solo lounge. Nice addition!
I agree. If I ever cruise again, I would definitely consider that type of cabin.

I stayed in a solo studio on the Bliss in 2023 to Mexico. It was cozy, but just fine for what I needed. I have moved up and booked a solo ocean view on the Pride of America for 2026. Because the ship sails mostly between the islands and at night, I saved the money from a balcony cabin to use on excursions. It's basically a floating hotel, as the islands are the real draw. Many people are so exhausted from visiting the various islands of Hawaii, they are only in their cabin to sleep, shower, and recuperate. Great video!
I agree the solo studios are cozy, but they work. I think you will enjoy the solo ocean view. I really enjoyed the space for a solo cabin. Sounds like a great cruise on the Pride of America! Thank you so much for watching!

That is much much better than the solo cabin on the Bliss. I never felt settled in because it was just too small. Worst bed I have ever slept on while cruising. I met multiple people who booked traditional inside cabins and were sailing solo for less than what I paid for the studio.
Both of those are so unfortunate about NCL. Great solo cruising program but not so great with the solo cruise pricing. Yes, it's possible to be more than booking double occupancy in a regular cabin. Makes no sense. I never stayed in a studio, but yes, I recommend this solo oceanview cabin. But still compare it to double occupancy pricing and room size if you decide to consider it!
Okay SIG I love this! 🙌🏾 I have a solo studio on my upcoming NCL cruise so I’ll review how cramped and claustrophobic I feel once on that ship but I probably won’t be in the room too much. My big brother and SIL have a regular room and I’ll be hanging out with them most of the time. Nice work ❤️
Those studio cabins are smaller, but they're still do-able to me for a short cruise. But yes, the larger solo cabins are really comfortable!!!
That’s a nice room and seems to almost have everything you need, it does suck there aren’t any outlets near the bed though! The bed does look so cozy! Nice video! 😊

It was! It felt like a regular cabin. The only time it felt small was getting out of bed. It feels so close to the walls. But yes, lots of storage! Thank you so much for watching!
This is a regular Ocean View Cabin, the only difference from an Inside is the window. Any cabin can be a 'Solo' - it's just a matter of price.
Thank you for your input, David. My comparison is on what NCL lists in their solo cabin category and only bookable by one person. Yes, they classified 1000 solo cabins over their fleet this year. To do this, they took regular cabins and listed a solo only category price. These are their new solo interior, oceanview, and balcony cabins.
Ok yeah, I’m impressed. I would never stay in a NCL solo cabin but that Oceanview seems way more spacious. For a shorter solo cruise, I can see myself staying in that type of cabin.
Yeah, this felt like a normal size cabin. The only thing I noticed was the walls being so close to the bed. But I don't know if there's more space in the regular ocean views. I could do this room on a 7-day sailing.

Yes, that bed is one of the nicest things about this solo cabin. It's the regular twin beds pushed together! These were regular cabins that were priced as solo cabins. I believe they are the same size as the regular cabins. Thank you so much for watching, Cydney!

LOL....that's just wasted space being up that high...lol! Yes, the studio cabins are smaller. I will say that you may not be in the room much (depending on your cruising style) and it may be do-able. But having a bit more space in a solo cabin is nice!

Yes, they now have solo balconies. But these are regular balcony cabins that they converted to double occupancy.

I have a few. I have a handheld one and one that extends 6 ft and has a remote. These are the two I use the most. I know I got them from Amazon (that's the only place I shop). I will see if I can find links. I love both of them!
