I just bought one because I am not able to use my mobility scooter on the road going to the grocery stores. There are no sidewalks going up that way and was informed by the police officer that I am only able to use my scooter on roads with posted speeds of 30 miles or under. The posted speed on the road going to the grocery store is 35 and 40. I checked the reviews of the tricycle and it was all very good.

One of the reasons why I would love an Adult tricycle is because it has less risk that bicycles. The two rear wheels give you balance so you don’t fall.

Great of you to make this video, it should help folks with assembling an three wheel bike in general , most are done much the same way. I build electric bikes and trikes are what I started out building first, many retired mill and vets around and they love the ability to ride around the neighborhood on them. the Assembling requires a good waist high table to build the frame on. then you can handle it from all angles with ease. And you can also convert your favorite bicycle into a trike but much better to buy a purpose built one.
Love it. I love how foldable it is and the storage space in the back. I could add a couple of things like lights and odometer to it. If its good to travel 20 mins frm home to market or smthg and durable, will keep it.

you can do it! once you do you'll never regret it. get whatever you can get that will help you. since you said you're overweight, you should get something that would accommodate you and make you feel safe and at the same time help you get exercise to help with your weight loss. then later maybe you could move up into learning how to ride a conventional bike when you feel more confident about your weight and size. I like being outside and it is more motivational than looking at four walls inside the house. all I know is what would work for me is to be able to take my bike anywhere and ride it and it's secluded quiet place by myself where I can work on my weight with no judgment and no pressure from anyone around me. I need to find a way to get the money to pay for this cuz I certainly don't have it but I've got to find a way to start moving in a low impact way. walking right now is too much pressure on my legs. wish you the best ❤️

I've been doing a lot of research on adult tricycles recently. As I understand it, if the terrain you ride on is varied, hilly, gravel, dirt, etc., then one with 3, 7 speed shifting would be more useful than a single speed. But none of the trikes I've researched have been recommended for long distance riding. If you get an electric trike, then you shouldn't have any real trouble unless the distance is so great the battery runs down.
If you want the best adult Tricycle, made, buy a used American one made by Schwinn in the 60s and 70s. They will last forever and can had for half of what you pay for these cheap Chinese ones.
I’m 64 and the Meridian takes me to the market, to the beach and carries all my groceries, snorkel gear and fishing gear. I added a 3 rod holder and mirrors and parked my new car! Great exercise too.
350 ibs it's rated for. Replace the seat though, after awhile the seat spring mounts fatigued and broke on mine when I was maybe 220. It's really good otherwise, worth buying and replacing the seat off the bat.

I just ordered an adult trike. I'm 58 but I didn't buy it because of diminished capacity , I bought it because I love fabricating things I'm going to add two more wheels with another sprocket so I'll have fwd in the snow. Also going to build a removable ski for the front
strange i have just ordered number 9 from ebay for just under £200 and if you ask me 3 or 4 of the other ones are this maker just rebranded with a few other details, put together in America then sold as Made in USA for a higher price because American buyer think they are genuinely all made in the States, like so many other things they are fooled into believing are made there, when really they have been put together there with a few additions, you only have to listen to the spec, 330kg, the frame curve and style, do you really think they will make one that costs more in materials, workers time pay and overheads when they can order unfinished complete basic trike kits in bulk for probably half what i paid and i will still have to put mine together, so dont be fooled by those who say chinese are crap specially if you have to put it together yourself, because most of them cannot do that very well, i will get mine put it together properly and tight, using grease oils and lock-tight where needed, spray it all over with WD40 to protect it, fill the inner-tubes or tubeless wheels with a puncture proof gel, tighten the spokes, maybe bend the seat and handle bar stems to suit me perfectly and make pedaling as easy as i can, do something with the basket because i want to take my tools and a few materials to jobs, i am a Plumber, Tiler and property maintenance man, a lot of my work is the other side of a stream with only foot paths, if not you have to drive 2+ miles to get to houses i could hit with a stone, it is stupid and i care for what we are going to leave our grandchildren to live in and miss out on, but ebay UK have loads of trike under tricycles, hope this helps you and opens the eyes of those who believe the bull s##t,
Mine was horrible. It keeps tilting and going to the right, so I have to use so much power to keep it going straight. I got so tired using my tricycle that i decided to sell it. It felt so stiff.

Husky makes trikes rated for 600 pounds. I think the schwinn is rated at 400. I'm around 380, so I know where you're coming from.
