    Great tutorial, Liz! If you go into the Grain Behavior and turn off the Offset Jitter, then you can pickup the pencil and put it back down again and it won't overlap.

      @@LizNess Right?? I learned that in another class I took on making pattern brushes. With a gazillion possible brush settings, I'd have never found that one on my own lol. Enjoying going through your videos! ;)

    If you turn on magnetics and snapping when you are moving the 4 copies to the corners, they will line up perfectly automatically in each corner as you move them 🥰

      That’s right 🙂-thanks for adding this to the comments. Back when I made this video, I wasn’t using either of those settings regularly. But, I do now and they are so helpful. I’m glad you mentioned it. Thanks again 🤗❤️

    Does a similar technique apply when making something that repeats in a chain? Example a rope brush I’m working on (still kinda new to making brushes) I’ve tried several angles, positions, spacing etc and it won’t lay right. I try to use the rotation at max so it moves with the pen but it still seems to displace when curving? My display on the test pad also seems to appear different than when actually using the brush.

      This is a great question and something that took me a bit of testing to understand, too. I wound up talking to Procreate’s support team because I just didn’t get how this all worked at first. Then, I made this video (which you might find useful): DIY Wreath Brushes for Procreate - a Reboot czcams.com/video/YkKBBPANkWw/video.html
      Another one that might be interesting is this one: DIY Braid Brush + DIY Knit Brush czcams.com/video/oTgTYsYpQQU/video.html
      Oh, and this one too: Floral Border Brush czcams.com/video/TfQZPN5lU1k/video.html
      Thanks for your question and best wishes on your chain brush 🤗❤️

    Can i ask why you chose procreate over affinity designer? Im torn between the 2, i have silhouette studio business edition and im more sublimation. Thank you

    • @LizNess
      @LizNess  Před rokem +1

      This is a great question. Wanting to make tutorials, I thought it best to consider budget and chose Procreate as a great choice in terms of what it offers and the price. However, I am planning to bring in more apps to my channel (because I want to expand the digi art focus to other apps). And, Affinity is on my list (I have both the photo and design apps). Truly, Affinity puts out great products. (I am considering adding tutorials for Photoshop and Illustrator, too).
      Thanks so much for asking🤗🩷

      @@LizNess thank you for replying. I have just started using Procreate then I can send to silhouette studio. I only really do things for friends & family. I suppose choice comes down to what you want to use it for. Have a fab weekend 😊
