#1980s #nostalgia #memories - Zábava
Living in the past has never been so fun. No doubt that the 70's & 80's were the best of times.
Thank you for watching Michael!
It's relative to the years of your youth I think. I'd say the 50s and 60s were best of times.
@@RhettyforHistory i imagined you in ur 30s, maybe 40s based solely on the voice!!
@@RhettyforHistorysorry for your losses entertainment and ads as well as the comics section 😊
Only if you were a boy @@Dadsezso
My husband and I got married September 30, 1989. Back in the 70's a highlight for me was after church on Sunday, Mom would make me tomato soup with grilled cheese. Then, I would settle in and go through every ad and dream about all the cool stuff I wanted. I still dream about the cool stuff, but now it's on Amazon. Thanks, Rhett!
I completely understand where you are coming from lynnsenger9950. Thank you for watching and sharing some memories with us.
I remember the 1980s and Saturday mornings were the place to be for Saturday morning Cartoons.
There were definitely some good ones in that decade. Thank you for watching jamescole250!
I remeber getting up on Saturday mornings and creeping downstairs so not too wake my mom and dad and watching garfleid and friends plus the weird Al show at 7: 30 on c b s I also remember coming downstairs for breakfast on Sunday morning and looking at the. Startribine and loooking at all the ads in the Sunday paper and reading the funnies mom and dad would go to church when they. Got home they would always bring me a donut and I still have my bike from back than I remeber I’d ride my bike down to the dead end and back where we lived on 10501 Fillmore st ne Blaine m n 55434 their was a dip in the blacktop and I didn’t see it and rode my bike right over it and fall we had driveway that looked like a hill so I would get a running start and paddle my bike all the way up the driveway that was the st I grew up on
I didn't start watching a Saturday morning block until 1 Saturday Morning
Yes that about sounds right and sadly that part of life now didn't survive and is now extinct.
That paper would have started soooo many fires in our old fireplace… 😆
Unless it was some important event that's what happened to ours. This was a pretty important paper to save for those in Oklahoma.
Looking at those old prices is a lot of fun. I also like thumbing through those old Sears catalogs from the late 1800s and early 1900s
I enjoy doing that as well. Thank you for watching charleetuner!
Yes! The old Sears and JC Penneys thick Xmas catalogs....I always looked forward to those! Except I mean 1970s ones lol
We lost our Radio shack, Sears, JCPenney and Kmart all within a couple years… most of the old locations are now weed shops. Crazy world we live in!!
Us kids got to pick out 3 toys from the Sears Wishbook that we'd want every Xmas. Our grandparents would choose one of them to give us and the fun part was trying to guess which gift we'd get. We didn't have much money and my dad was part of his teamsters union so it was inevitable in some years that they'd be on strike during Xmas. My parents would try their hardest to buy at least one gift for each of us 3 kids. I remember them buying one of those god awful silver aluminum trees. That way we at least had a tree to hang our ornaments on. I no longer celebrate Xmas, but the memories from my childhood always bubble to the surface as I celebrate Yule every year.
D.O.B. 1972...and damn proud of it!!!
Thank you for watching METALHEAD550!
You are my sibling
I was born in 71, and I miss the 80's.
I remember when TV guides were a must have and Sunday newspapers were the best.
They really were desired items. Thank you for watching!
Thanks for more awesome content! It’s nice to put a face to the voice!😊
You're welcome and thank you for watching Sarika38!
Yes it's really good and also the cost to talk on those old brick phones during that era was close to $4000 as I saw in an documentary named Modern Marvels about 80s Tech. Anyway check that out anyway you can.
I miss those days! Whatever problems there were seem so simple looking back!!
Yes
It was that way for me as well Jennifer. Thank you for watching!
@@RhettyforHistory for sure!! Thanks for sharing! It really shows that the cost of living has far outpaced wages. I bet that $55k model home is going for $600k. It sure doesn’t seem like Income has gone up 10x in the last 30 years ..(I think I did my math right 😬)
@@Jennifermcintyre And now New York City is literally turning into a Migrant City, and it sucks that people have to loose their property to the migrants of all place....Thank god I don't live in Cities.
Born in 73. We grew up during the best time ever. Your channel makes me smile.
It’s good to see your face, you’re not what I imagined!
Thank you for watching Ooogabooga282 and I'm happy to hear you are enjoying the channel!
Detroit Free Press....it was huge on Sundays. Best things were the funnies, the lifestyle section, and the smell and feel of the paper and ink.
Thank you for watching and sharing the paper you enjoyed charleetuner!
The "Funnies". My dad used to call them that.
My wonderful paternal grandmother always wrapped my bday gift in the funnies. 🥰
Coupons too
Us kids used to steal the funnies and copy them on to our chunks of Silly Putty. The simplest things used to entertain us back then. No cell phones, satellite TV, video games (unless you counted Pac-Man that ate all of your quarters at the local bowling alley😂), and we had to walk to our friend's houses if we wanted to talk to them. Simpler days to say the least!
I grew up in the 90s and 2000s but seeing that TV guide definitely brought me back to looking in our newspaper for when shows or movies would be on. I do miss those simpler days. As nice as it is to have access to information so freely on the internet, there’s was something so nice about those days
I feel the same way djs-9942! Thank you for watching!

Only 35 years ago, and so much has changed.
Yes it has.
1989 - the year I graduated from high school…. That was a LONG time ago!
It's hard to believe it was so long ago. Thank you for watching jomusicv!
Me, too! Born in 1971!
@@RhettyforHistory thank you for sharing! So glad I found your channel.
I have seen a few younger creators retelling “history” of things we lived through and I want to correct all of them “No one called the police in 1983 because no one had a cell phone… or a dime”
And then the ones who play local access shows like they were competing against network shows in syndication…. Yep, I’ve become THAT old lady!
So did my younger sister.
@@jomusicvYeah, I always had to untangle the spiral cord on the phone in order for it not to grab my long hair like an octopus when I would use it. My oldest brother would sit in his bedroom for hours and talk to all of his grilfriends so the next person to use the phone would have a giant knot to deal with. My parents finally put a 6ft cord to the wall and a short spiral cord on the phone to keep him from locking himself in his room and holding the phone h0stage for hours every day!😂
Cell phones weren't even a twinkle in our eyes in the 70's and 80's. I can remember when my brother and his wife bought cordless phones. I was baffled how they worked without a cord. Then we had to buy tiny cassette tapes for our answering machines. Anyone remember the commercial for answering machines with, 🎶"Wait for the beep. Wait for the beep!"🎶 in it?
No?
Just me?
OK, I'll slowly back myself out of the room now!

Wow ....I never pictured you look like that . Don't worry, it's a compliment 😊.

I was a paperboy for Daily Republic in the 80s, i thouroughly detested sundays cuz i had to make 3 trips , as id tip over on my bike if i packed toocmany in my sling thingy😂 even now that job was the absolute worst i ever had , i made like $100 a month , 7days a week waking up at 4:30am lol
It was definitely not an easy job and especially so waking up early in inclement weather. I helped a friend out every so often but I stuck with mowing, shoveling snow and selling mistletoe. Thank you for watching and sharing your memories of being a paperboy.
Roy, I’ll bet you still got a great work ethic, That’s how I grew up too, Working for spending money!👍
I've always been interested in history as far back as I can remember . I was born in the 80s ..... I remember Saturday morning cartoons ,TV guides , Knight Rider . The News paper we had was the Pittsburgh Post Gazette , I liked reading the Garfield comics and The Peanuts and a few others.
Thank You for these videos .
You're welcome. Thank you for watching and sharing some of your memories. Both of the comics you mentioned were great!
I'm grew up in Pittsburgh and still live here. The news paper... we had 2 in the early 8O's The Pittsburgh Post Gazette was the morning paper. The Pittsburgh Press was the evening paper. In the early 1990s it was discontinued until around 2010 It was brought back for a few years but discontinued mid 2010"s. Pittsburgh Post Gazette is still in existence. Most of their news is online but I think they still publish the Wednesday and Sunday editions. I can remember when I was around 5 ( 1970 ) there was a third news paper-The Sun. Either post or press absorbed the Sun.
Maybe it’s a Rhett thing to be really into history? I thank you for all the fun nostalgia!
You're welcome. Great play on your name there too! Thank you for watching!
Wow! Your my age! Love the channel, love the Buc Ees shirt! I enjoyed the newspaper from '89, I still rummage through my 1970's and 80's keepsakes, keeps me sane! I👍
I completely get where you are coming from on the 70s and 80s items. It's fun to look back on those items when you have memories connected to them. Thank you for watching David!
It was the Hillsborough disaster. Where 96 people lost there lives. The reason they crossed out 93 and changed it to 94 was because of the conflicting reports. Families had to fight for years to have family members included.
That sounds like a horrific event. I'm not sure if I remember it. I do remember a soccer or football event in which too many people got in the upper stands and it collapsed. That looked terrifying but I wasn't sure if that was the same thing.
It was a different one. That was a liverpool vs juventus game. In Belgium I think. The staduim collapsed. This one. It was the fences in the stadium and too many people being pushed in by the police that lead to crushing @@RhettyforHistory

I delivered The Pittsburgh Press from 79-85. Cost $1.70 for the whole week when I started. 20¢ a day and 50¢ on Sunday.
You definitely delivered the paper for quite some time. That seems like such a bargain looking back on it because I know the papers had so much more in them than what they do now. Thank you for watching and sharing a memory with us Joe!
@@RhettyforHistory Started in 6th grade, stopped right before I went to college. Got about $1000 bucks graduation tips. Had a large route.
Oh wow! Those are some great tips back then. Sounds like people knew you and liked you!
I'm in Pittsburgh and I remember the paper boy in our area delivering the Press around 4 PM. He would come once a week to collect payment and had a ring of receipts where he would tear off a stub with the date on it to and give to you to keep as a receipt.
@@marianne4468 Yep. We got a big ring and a card for each customer. Each card covered 26 weeks so twice a year we got them. Every week we ripped off a little stub with the date on it as a receipt.

I wanna put 10 thumbs up for this. 1989 was really special for me.
Thank you for watching aureencriss8220!
I love finding old newspapers and reading thru the articles and ads. Especially the ones I used when I packed up my glassware back in 1988 when I moved in with my first partner. Gas prices were astounding at $.97 cents a gallon and I used to complain when it would cost me more than $12 to fill the tank on my '86 Toyota Celica. Wish I still had that car too, but I traded it in for an '89 4Runner that I still own!!
As a space shuttle fanatic I was devastated when the orbiter Challenger exploded during my senior year of HS in '86. I still have the USA Today newspaper that my dad bought for me on his way home from work that day. I try not to mess with it too much, but at 55, and seeing the way our world is rapidly changing, I tend to take the paper out from time to time. I like going back in my mind while remembering being a carefree kid in the 70's and 80's while also trying not to sob my heart out as all the emotions from the explosion course thru my brain.
If I could go back in time and give 17 yr old me some advice I'd say:
stop and enjoy every moment you can, enjoy not having to work at a job...yet, and above all stop being obstinate and defiant with mom & dad so you can spend as much time making memories with them and take lots of pictures as the years tend to make some memories a bit foggy. Mom & dad aren't going to be around forever and dad will be gone much sooner than you'll ever expect 😢. Make the effort to hang out with him when he asks if you want to go out and look for yard sales or hit up the local swap meets every weekend. You'll be happy you did!
Thanks, Rhett, for all your fun videos and sometimes wacky glimpses into our pasts!

@@RhettyforHistory Appreciate it. I'm not sure if you would call it a celebration per se but we would go the Rattlesnake Derby each year in Mangum. There wasn't much to do in those parts, especially in the 80s, so that event was fun.

Thanks for this, it was such a fun trip down memory lane. ❤️
You're welcome and thank you for watching. The Dallas Morning News was a great paper. I also liked the Fort Worth Telegram.
I'm an Australian 90s kid, but I definitely remember having a super basic swing set that would lift from the ground, drinking from the hose, and poring over catalogues and papers. Fun to see something from the other side of the world from when I was too young to read.
Those were fun times! Thank you for watching and sharing some of your memories in Australia!
In early 2017, my local Sears began renovations in an effort to attract more customers. New signage, carpets, auto/tire center, the works. The store remained open but it slowed sales to a crawl and it ended up being shut down. It’s quite sad, as I have memories of going there with my Grandpa and exchanging a Craftsman tool here or there. It wasn’t very often because those were quality tools. I can also still remember the distinct smell of vulcanized rubber from the auto center that would waft into other sections of the store. Thanks once more for another fun and informative video!
I really liked Sears and like you, I also have quite a few memories with them. Thank you for watching and sharing some of your memories.

My first job was at a newspaper and I met my husband there. My husband was a spirts writer for decades for newspapers. My dad and brothers all worked for a newspaper. Local, daily metro Atlanta newspapers.
My job was a paste up artist. I would wax the typesetting ads and puzzle then into the copy. Belk and other retailers would advertise each printing.
I loved working at the newspaper!

What did you do to preserve that paper so well? I have the old Chicago newspapers from the fall of 2005 that my mom sent me when the White Sox won the World Series as I was already living in Florida at the time. They’re as yellow & brittle as can be…
I did not preserve this newspaper. I guess you could say a relative did. They just had this in a box with other newspapers that were inside a house. If they are kept in sunlight or heat/extreme temps they will definitely age. Thank you for watching mcorleonep!
Hi Rhett 🙋🏽 . It's really good to see you again ‼️we don't get the News paper anymore. It's kinda Sad. I don't know when it was the last time I saw a news paper box. Since the Internet everything has changed.🤷🏽. The last paper I brought was 1.00 dollar.😂

I loved to read my local paper. I found a Sunday edition in my front yard the other day. A freebee give away. A little damp. Brought it in to dry out and it had such a chemical odor. Way stronger than I remember.
Thank you for watching. I guess they were trying to get people hooked on the paper again with a free one?
i would love to have those old appliances now, gees we bought top of the line stainless steel when we redid our kitchen, and our dishwasher died after 4 years, the fridge had to be replaced and serviced twice since then, they don't last at all anymore
It really is sad to see how the modern appliances just don't last. I think a lot of that changed somewhere around 2008.
I'm gonna be 45 and I really miss those days I really love your videos I almost want to cry
That was cool going through those papers specially the store stuff. Brought back some memories. The three Sears that were closest to me are long gone. Probably mid 2000's. Would love more of these newspaper visits.
Thank you for watching 01FozzyS. Sears has been gone from my area for quite some time now as well. It's really sad.
I grew up in Orlando, Florida, and the newspaper is called the Orlando Sentinal, which is still published today. I also remember the old name of this newspaper--the Sentinal Star. Some of those old ads you found in that 1989 issue are a nice path to memory lane. Oklahoma and Florida had similar stores, such as Eckerd Drugs, Montgomery Ward, and Sears. Florida had some other stores including Zayres, Ames, and Jordan Marsh. This city of Orlando also had some local stores for the hippie crowd; for instance, one was called the Infinite Mushroom. I also liked that the prices during the late 1980s were at a lower price. Moreover, it's unbelievable that those bulky, heavy cell phones and video cameras have been reduced to modern, smaller, and lighter smartphones like the iPhone and Samsung of today. Thanks for sharing that old newspaper.
You're welcome and thank you for watching! It's interesting to hear about what was in Florida.

I delivered a newspaper called the Daily Intelligencer in Warrington Pennsylvania from 1984 to 1988 (12 to 16 years old). I had 2 routes totaling about 50 customers during the week. The Sunday Intelligencer was a whole different beast, and I had about 30 extra customers that only got the Sunday paper. The average Sunday papers were massive, and it was hard to maintain your balance on the bike. I remember hating life on Sundays as I peddled extremely slowly up hills. Sometimes, special edition Sunday papers were just so large that my mom would take pity on my skinny legs and would drive me thru my route. It probably cost her more in gas than my paper routes paid, but I was very thankful, to say the least!!!
Thank you for watching and sharing some of your memories doing the paper route rogergoodman8665. I never did the paper but I had a friend that did and it was sometimes just necessary to have a little help with the car due to the weather or special editions like you said.
There is a collector's market for vintage newspaper inserts, especially the ones that have a lot of toys in them like Toys R Us. It's a niche market, but a real one.
You're right about that. Thank you for watching 3Storms!
What fun! I had some scary moments on the swings when I was a kid. Your memories of that had me smiling. And my mom loved Montgomery Ward, I still have a MW exclusive original "Rudolph the red nose reindeer" book my mom got me for Christmas. Sears for me was the best place to get Christmas presents. They always had gift sets like bath oil beads with a bottle of lotion or a scarf with gloves set. But I'd always get my mom those jewelry sets that had the earings and matching necklace. They were cheap and not that great, but mom never let me think otherwise.😊
This was a blast to go back in time a little, but those apartment rent prices made me want to cry.🥺😆
Ahh yes. Rudolph and Montgomery Wards definitely go hand in hand. Not too many people realize that today. I really loved both Sears and Montgomery Ward. Thank you for watching and sharing some of your memories with us Shannon!

An hour long video 😮 my morning is set!!! You should visit Scotland man, everything is hundreds if not thousands of years old, its blows my mind (being from America I've never seen anything like it). I'll look up the front page story and get back to you 👍💙🏴
Update: On April 15th a "soccer" football match at Hillsborough stadium was really packed..... security detail opened up another gate causing too many people to enter the standing only areas and resulted in people being crushed and seriously injured, death toll right now is 97 as some people have died years later as a result of the injuries. Families are blaming the security and the stadium, security and the stadium blame the overzealous crowds. In 2017 after many inquests it was ruled negligence of security. IMO it was everyone's fault, they tend to be a bit crazy about their sports here👍 now I shall watch the video

Thanks for letting us know more on that even. It's sound horrific. I remember one soccer event where the balcony fell and people got killed but I wasn't sure where that was either. It's really sad that the number of deaths associated with that event has risen even more.
Yeah he was definitely correct! I love going to the Scottish games and festivals when I can!
The face behind the voice, rocking a killer beard and a cool t-shirt. Really like your content. With all the smut, bad and fake news everywhere I really appreciate your content and the brief escapes from reality. Keep on keeping on and God bless.
Cart attendant at 'Venture' was my very first official job....lol. My favorite thing about the paper was going straight to the Entertainment section to see what movies were playing. The newest most popular releases would have bigger ads and longer he move was out the ad got smaller. The $1 theater would have the smallest ad. We were poor so I waited till movies got to the $1 theater a lot, I remember seeing a double feature of Footloose and Flashdance for a buck...!! Chaching..!!
The entertainment section used to be really great and I loved the dollar theater as well. Thank you for watching and sharing your memories with us Eric!
Also, thanks for sharing the paper. I miss the days when I go t the Macon County Times and it was filled to the brim with stories. Now it's a thinner piece of newspaper and it makes me sad. I plan to renew my subscription ASAP> It may not be what it was, but it's my paper.
It is sad to see these newspapers sort of go down and some have completely disappeared. Thank you for watching!
This brings me back lots of memories. As a kid, I would grab the comics/school news, Mom grabbed the stores/coupons, and Dad all the boring business sections 😅 good times.
Thank you for watching and sharing what you and your family enjoyed.
Gary Morris sung country but also did some Broadway plays during the day & sung in those too. I believe he is still alive. Of course both Conway Twitty & Minnie Pearl have long since past away. My Mom loved collecting coupons. I used to collect coupons but stopped several years ago when I stopped buying the Sunday paper. The prices in your paper of the groceries is a blast from the past. We won't ever see prices like that again. I buy bottled water because it's better than the tap water here but I don't drink it because I can't drink plain water although I did drink water from the water hose when I was a kid 😂. I use bottled water for cooking etc. I enjoyed your video! Thanks!!!
You're welcome and I appreciate you watching. Thank you for giving us more information on Morris.
I love the Sunday newspapers. They had everything. The coupons the tv guide. The extended sports sections the comics etc......I don't c them as much now like back then
Thank you for watching alfonsogreen2722!
@@RhettyforHistory my pleasure
My fridge/freezer was original to this condo, so was 40 years old this year. I owned it about half of those years. Alas, lately the motor sounded longer, worked more frequently and harder and parts of it were wearing out so I let it go last month. New one was only $600 (on sale from $900, Costco, free delivery/haul away too) and it's spiffy and my power bill went down a little last month. But I know there's no way the new one will happily chug away for 40 years!
Those days of long lasting appliances seem to be over. I have went thru several in the last 10 to 15 years. Thank you for watching and sharing your memories with us Beth!
1989 was 35 years ago, seems like yesterday. I was 19 years old working in a plastic factory. Our local paper was The Morning Journal. Sunday was ad days, we'd all thumb through it. In the early 80's, we'd cut coupons for mom's shopping, usually sugar cereal that we would fight over. And, of course, to see what's playing at the $1 matinee at the local Twin Cinemas. Radio Shack ads were always nice to look at the stereo equipment I would never be able to afford, until I started working in 1987, but $3.35 minimum wage fast food jobs weren't going to get me much, or at least not without saving for weeks and weeks, which I did.
You're right about one thing. Jobs weren't a lot of pay and you really had to work and save if you wanted something. Thank you for watching and sharing your memories with us.
I grew up listening to Gary Morris, my mom was a huge fan of his, he’s a country singer. You can probably find some of his music on CZcams, he’s pretty good. Also, it was so much fun putting a face to the voice, and I love watching your video! Your sense of humor in them makes my day 😀! I too love all things old, and this video was really fun! Also, your beard is really pretty!
Thank you for watching and I'm happy to hear you are enjoying the videos. Thanks for helping us out on Morris too.
I got my undergrad degree and moved on to grad school in 1989. My Mom was also born in Oklahoma. So, a significant year and location for me!
Oh, that's interesting Amanda. Thank you for watching and sharing some of what was happening for you back then.
Brings back memories!
Thanks for watching Russell!
I was born in 1960 in Tulsa. Every Sunday morning my dad would drive up to the grocery store and pick up the Sunday Edition of the Tulsa World. Everyone in the house woild stop everything and read the paper for an hour or two. I haven't bought a Sunday Paper for about 25 years and when I did it was mainly for the coupons.
Thank you for watching and sharing your memories with the Tulsa World Chris!
Nice to see who I’ve been listening to. I didn’t think you were AI generated because of your sly sense of humor that pops out sometimes. That feels very authentic.
I always enjoy your videos. Thank you.
You're welcome and thank you for watching. I'm happy to know you are enjoying the channel!
EPHEMERA!! You're not weird or crazy ..the collecting of things that were used for a short time like newspapers are called ephemera. And should know because I collect old magazines, phone books, newspapers, menus, travel booklets, postcard, etc. My mother had an antique store for one thing and always liked the history of places. And hey...I was born in Lawton ( Fort Sill) Oklahoma!! So this video is neat!! 🎉😊
Thank you for watching pinksparkle258! Sarah and I love antique stores but neither of us have had any family that have been involved in Antique stores. I bet you have seen a lot of great things and have a nice collection because of it.
We still have a local paper but it has gone from a daily to Wednesday/Sunday only. $3 for the Wednesday & $6 for the Sunday. Not many ads anymore and zero coupons though we did get a KFC ad this past Sunday. They had a coupon for a 12 piece meal for$ 35.99! And I miss ARBY-Q'S! 😊
Oh my gosh that seems so high for just those two days. It definitely sounds like they are hurting for business. Thank you for watchin and telling us about your local paper.
Wow this paper is 2 days younger than myself 💪
Thank you for watching thi8061!
I loved Anthony's. Bought all of my stone washed Levi 502s there 😅❤
Thank you for watching and sharing your memory of Anthony's!
Watching your videos is so much fun. As a child of the 70's and 80's I feel like I had the best of the best. I feel bad for those who didn't get to experience that decade like we did. I'm assuming you're in the 405, we just left to GA. Used to live near Hefner lake.
Yes I am in OKC. You were definitely right in the city too. Do you miss anything from here? Thank you for watching Brandi!
@@RhettyforHistory some of the people but despite being born in OK and living there most of my life I definitely prefer GA. I feel bad saying that but here we're surrounded by trees, the nights are cool even when the days are hot, the air is cleaner, there's less allergies, surprisingly the people are nicer and the weather is MUCH better. No hail storms and no tornadoes which was a big reason why we moved. I love Oklahoma but going strictly by a scorecard, Georgia definitely wins. Of course a lot of that comes down to where in OK you're at, I didn't care for central OK but northeast OK is really nice. Actually all of far eastern OK is beautiful.
It is great looking at the good old times and all the cheap Stuff 😊😊
I agree. Thank you for watching Carol!
I agree the magic middle cookies were delicious. I remember laying around on a Sunday eating them and watching Guts and Double Dare on Nickelodeon.
Thank you for watching and sharing a memory with us patrickkavanagh7371!
We have a SEARS at the Meadowood Mall in Reno, Nevada. Haven't been to one in years, but maybe I'll check it out. It was definitely a family outing back in the 70s and early 80s.
That's great to see that you still have a sears where you are. I would definitely be curious to hear what it is like inside.
Thank you taking me back to my childhood with everyone of your videos, love them.
You're welcome and thank you for watching. I'm happy to know you are enjoying the videos.
I noticed a "Tasteful" Flavoradio in the Radio Shack ad. I never got the urge to taste a radio.
😂🤣🤣
Haha! I missed that. Thank you for watching and pointing that out!
I'm from the Texas Pandhandle. Our Sunday papers were thick and chock full of ads. Some of our stores sold the Dallas Morning News newspaper. I got my first job in DFW from a job ad in the classified section 😅. That was our Indeed and LinkedIn. Love your channel.
Thank you for watching and sharing your memories. I happy to hear you are enjoying the channel too.
