Some of Black Sabbath's best material was with Tony Martin. No one realized it at the time, but many now are waking up to that fact. I was so glad to hear that material will be finally be getting reissued.
It's THE best era. The Eternal Idol, Headless Cross and Tyr are the best 3 Sabbath albums.
Don't understand what are you talking about. All records under Black Sabbath trademark were great and absolutely professional. Tony Martin isn't exception.

A bad night. He's still got it. You can't expect the same range he had at 30 but he's definitely still got it. I saw live footage of Nightwing at one point and he nailed it. You should check his most recent album from last year. Still in fine form for his age.

Gostava muito do Tony no Sabbath. Muito bom saber que as pessoas frequentam seus shows. Fez grandes trabalhos no Sabbath. Essa música é uma das minhas favoritas. Normal um cantor que cantava tanto como ele perder a voz com a idade. Grande músico!🤘⭐👏🇧🇷
Acho sensacional o Sabbath com ele. Gosto inclusive de algumas músicas do Forbidden, que é o álbum mais mal visto inclusive, mas até nos vídeos dele cantando naquela época, dava pra ver que ele não alcançava as notas que cantava em estúdio. Não sei se era insegurança ou questão técnica. Mas se você observar por exemplo todos os vídeos de When Death Calls ao vivo, é muito decepcionante quando chega no refrão ou em outros momentos de notas altas e ele reduz. Parece que a música vai chegar naquele ponto, mas não chega nunca.
Apesar disso, gosto muito do trabalho dele no Sabbath. Por outro lado, tem algumas músicas do álbum Tyr que ele chega nas notas mais altas.
Martim teve seu mérito no sabbath, eu acho fantástica a fase dele, o cara e muito técnico, curto todos os álbuns com ele mas em especial o cross of purpuses.
@@Thalys756a voz dele começou a ser prejudicada já nos anos 90. Se você ouvir as performances de 1987-1989, ele soa excelente. O problema foi ter abusado DEMAIS do drive na turnê do Headless Cross, se você ouvir "Children of the Sea" percebe que ele alcança, mas estava se esgoelando no drive. Isso cobrou um preço.

No show de Pougkeepsie (de 1989), e no de Manchester, do mesmo ano, When Death Calls soa impecável!

I disagree! He has lost his highs, but his vibrato is still silky smooth! The trick for singers in this position is to alter the arrangements of the songs to accommodate what their instrument can still play!

Ele envelheceu mas ainda esta cantando muito bem. Somente o Dio não perdeu a voz dela com a idade. Me lembro de ver o Dio Cantar em 2009 e confesso que achava que era playback! O cara é um mostro mas vamos confessar que o Tony ainda esta mandando bem!! Espero ver um show dele aqui na minha cidade um dia.

@@eduardoandradedossantos7402 Bruce Dickinson tbm n perdeu a voz. Se brincar até mais conservado que o Dio. Apesar de que o Dio era mais velho eu acho né. Tem uma versão de Holy Diver, n lembro bem quando, mas creio que entre 2005-2009, ele não conseguiu ou não quis tentar chegar numas notas mais altas em trechos específicos. Fora isso, performance sensacional, ele envelheceu bem.

I loved Tony his voice on the album but this is painful. The song is already played a tone lower here than on the album and still he can't manage to sing any high note. The other singer saved his ass .

Os melhores trabalhos do sabbath foram combo Tony Martim. O problema é que ele não canta nada. Uma voz horrível que apela pra vocal pré gravado. Mas vale a pena ouvir seu antigo trabalho quando cantava maravilhosamente nos estúdios
