Just a little FYI for your pedantic viewers. When the Engine is installed into {or intended to be installed} the vehicle it is a Motor and can be accurately referred to as either. . Motor is part of a system, and can be electric, internal combustion or other means of providing motivation {motive power} for the machine.
Good word!
@@HamiltonvilleFarm I was hoping that you got that truck running I'll send you all messing with it y'all gave it a shot but if you got that truck running and text me and let me know whether you got it running or not I do believe that it will run so I think that truck probably maybe about a 8485 text me back and let me know did you get the old Peterbilt running I was also thinking working on that truck a big old snake was going to pop up on you y'all gave it a shot though I'll give you credit
How much for the red pete
I enjoy watching y'all videos
You guys are the best!!! Standing out there in the middle of the weeds, trying to get stuff running, AND laughing all the way through it. Fabulous.
Love that you guys go out and find these old trucks and heavy equipment. All the TV shows always show restoration of cars and hot rods, but some of us really enjoy seeing the big stuff brought back to life, keep up the great work 👍
Thanks Ralph. We appreciate that
That 3306 engine was very good at 200hp in the D6 crawler, they turbo charged it then intercooled it and put in trucks at400hp, it was stressed and blew the lips off cyl liners and blew head gaskets, rebuilt many in the uk.Regards from uk,
I love watching you guys's videos. I love seeing these old abandoned equipment the people have long forgot about and you guys bring them back to life it puts a smile on my face keep up the great work
I honestly love the way all three of you classy guys have gotten together and made two great channels even better. Keep up the great content and the laughs ..
we had a blast.
What a great video!! That fella is like a long lost brother to you and Wiley fits right in.
Thanks for sharing y'all's adventures!!
Have you run across any trucks or equipment equipped with air starters? Would love to see you guys try to get one of those started!
no but that would be cool.
Couldn't think of anything better than sumin starting off air and running away mmmhmm thats content right their
Ausie steve s place started a truck with a air starter he used a portable compressor to change the air tanks.
Wow Hank you and James Pretty are two of my favorite channels. You two guys are genuine. ❤
Right on
Hey thanks for watching we appreciate ya
Should be mid 80's . I had one with the corvette dash . I'm 70 years old and my mother told me this. If you keep your eyes and ears open and your mouth shut , by the time your 35 , you may know half of what your talking about. She was right i hate to say. .
I hope you are well 😢
Hank you need to ditch the cord off the Stihl and replace it with a 40 tooth disk. Make quick work of that brush.
Thanks for another great video.
All three of you worked hard on that one. But too many parts gone. Oh well. You tried.
You all take care and be safe. Take care Hank and Wiley.
Looking forward to the next video.
Thanks for everything.
The Iowa farm boy.
Retired Air Force veteran.
Thanks buddy! Have a good one!
I enjoy these videos. I'm in NC and my Daddy was a trucker for 36 years. We lost him a year ago. Brings back good memories
Sorry to hear that. Glad you enjoy the videos!
You don't have to be an accredited mechanic to gain a lifetime of knowledge and experience associated with trucks and heavy equipment.
Wylie has had the time and he demonstrates the knowledge just about every time you do an episode together.
He has probably forgotten more about those subjects than a lot of youngsters have had time and inclination to learn.
"You want to know what to do, find a grey hair or two".
Best line “that’s a rare sighting, Hank toting batteries!”…..Wiley on point with the humor as usual.
Good to see you guys working together have a great weekend
Thanks!
Since this truck has what I call the first generation rectangular headlights with the painted headlight rear covers, I'll say this truck is a late '83 or a '84 model. Great videos as always fellows!
Thanks!
I like watching ur video's and seeing u guy's bring those old truck's back around
Thank you. We appreciate that!
That looked like you guys were having a lot of fun. I enjoyed watching
Thanks Bruce
We had a blast!
The truck is a 349 given away by the can extensions we had one like it we used for scrap hauling they are rare
Hi from uk guys👋👍 nice bit banter on this on guys and good laugh too👌 and one of these hank your going to remeber the third thing you keep forgetting 😂 I love it when you quote that 3 thing my father said man god bless him and love how you keep his spirit alive in the daily conversation and uploads 💙 thanks for your time and be safe see you soon👍👋
Thanks Mark. We appreciate you watching!
@@HamiltonvilleFarm always here just never there👌
I drove an 85 359 for 3 yrs ..im gonna say with the 4 square head lights its between 81 and 87 the 359 was officially retired in 87 That 3306 is about the same as the L10 cummins
I really loved the old 1693 cat
Happy Saturday hank and Wiley!!! Howwwwboutchaaaaaa🎉
I agree with Wiley, can’t believe Hank carried batteries. Also, he worked up a sweat.
Every now and then I'll fool ya
That 359 has to be a 1978 or newer to have the corvette dash look in the driver side door jamb and look for the vin plate.
Nice right after I get caught up a new video is uploaded. Yall are awesome.
Thanks for watching them. Hope they entertain you
Fun Fact: A battery that is at 12.3 volts is only 25% charged. Betchya didn't know that.
Nope. Interesting
I have a turbo intercooled 3306 which came out of a twin steer dumpster with terminal chassis failure, it got a new lease of life running a 32 inch centrifugal fan on a big suction system for some opal mining machinery and has been a really good, trouble free motor for many years.
That's a square headlight Peterbilt, I'm guessing it's about an 1981 or 82. Unfortunately, not all of them will start. Good job anyway guys! Thanks for taking us along. 😎
Thanks buddy. Wanted this one to go.
Great video, look forward to part 2 when the starter is fixed.
oh, oh ,oh its magic. was made over here in england by a group called pilot from scotland back in the 1970's i use to love that song too
Cool. It’s a good song!
Hey heres up tip for you guys ,,, no starter or flat batts ,,,, get a petrol air compressor an connect it to trucks air tanks ,,, release the brakes once air is full ,, select 7th high range and tow start it with your Gmc ute, heaps faster trust me , just have confident drivers in each vehicle, truck driver puts clutch in with high range gear and soon as engine fires either snap outta gear or clutch in with foot brake , , just find the 1st tank in air supply routing to connect to , closest to air compressor usually, , use tire valve stem or tractor tire , thread it into a blanking bung on air tank , ,, use a fast flow adapter to connect to your installed tractor valve on air tank ,, remove inner valve core to fast flow into truck , once airs full disconnect air hose an fit inner core back in tractor tube valve ,, wear glasses and practice, tip have spare valves incase you loose it ,, 125 psi the air compressor stops at your truck is too, brakes should come off and all truck air equipment should work as normal
WOW! Hank, Wiley --- AND --- James Pretty! ! ! always a great video! Hopefully, one day you'll have Matt from Diesel Creek and Tim Gentry. Keep up the good work!
Question: Why is the Dashboard on the truck called a Corvette dashboard ?
Similar to a corvette style back in the day. We done one with Matt👍
@@HamiltonvilleFarm Thanks, I'll look for it later ;-}
Both channels are great James channel watch all the time Hank Whilley and James great try enjoyed very much have a great lunch.
Thanks 👍
Love watching u and wiley doing will it starts
Correct it is an engine and thanks for thinking of me as a friend.
My boy my boy. You bring a real mechanic and can’t get it started 😂
Lol
Man oh man i was excited to here it run but started bad. I would love to stair in one of your video's to start a semi I'm from covington Georgia. That as a sweet rig i loved it.wanted to drive it .😍😍😍😍😍
That Pete is a 78 or older it's has the corvette dash. I have a 77 with a flat dash that you guys would fall in love with.
Right on
The Peterbilt 359 was known for the round headlights and the round sleeper from prestine details with all the chrome knobs and chrome in the dashboard they were nice trucks with the cat 425 or 3406B they will do 115 lol don't worry about the white lines when driving it's like looking when you blink lol
They also have the unique wiper blades
It’s a PETERBuilt gotta save it!😉
U guys can cobble anything together and make it work love ur videos
We appreciate it
It's about a 84 or 83 model Pete
I'm watching from the UK I so wished I lived over there doing what you guys do
Noticed the Corvette style dash and late headlights. I'm guessing it's a 1985 year model.
👍👍
Dang it!!! At least we got to see 2 awesome channels working together!!! So what year is it?
Thanks for sharing Hank really appreciate the videos you put out there awesome 👍
Thanks much
Best of booth worlds Hamilton Farmville & James Pretty: my hat off !
the truck seems to be....1977 ?
at 9:45, James says it's dIRE sTRAITS at all, makes me think about this song: "The long Highway" by none other as Mark KNopfler 🙌
Ol Bruce Wilson gets his batteries hooked up and says now let's see if we can make her Cheech !
I've seen James videos on the CZcams,he's got a fleet,ol sparky's fired no sparks today lol
Lol. He was good today!
beautiful truck!
Hey guys watching your great videos here in Australia wish I could join you
Especially the 12 hour road trip..Cheers...Joe.
Looking good and God bless all yall
Thanks buddy!
Hellow Hank James an Wiley hope y'all are having a great weekend watch out for need an snakes see y'all soon buddy's
👍👍
Your ether bottle goes on that valve you pointed out.
Bring back your rain gear when you get a working starter because you will be coated if that thing fires with those 2 injector lines off the pump. The thing you had your finger stuck in was the starting aid (ether) but not a crowbar or ratchet strap or vise-grips or Crescent wrench and Wiley is like me and has selective hearing and filters out a lot of non-conductive stuff. God Bless All Yall!
R y'all going to get that Pete running? I really enjoyed y'all videos keep them awesome videos coming! GOD BLESS Y'ALL AND Y'ALL FAMILY!
👍
Hank says: where's are battery man 🤣
Excellent video Hank :) also crew I say truck is 1984 possible but be interesting to find but needs some love plus TLC for sure and be running again too!
Hank and Willey no better duo on youtube
lol. We appreciate that. Thank you.
Hey there HF! Huge fan of your videos. You and Wylie are wonderful entertainment. Listen, I'm shopping around for a bigger tractor for my farm and iv been looking at one identical to yours... Do you recommend I buy the Branson for my 43 acre farm?
No sir. I’d get the TYM. TYM bought our Branson and the Branson name is going away. So that may present some dealer challenges. I will say this, the Branson is an awesome tractor and I loved the one I had. But with the change, I’d go with TYM. But if you do get the Branson, you’ll be getting a fine machine.
@@HamiltonvilleFarm you are the best sir! Thank you for the prompt reply. Your like a well oiled machine, " and This Thangs Making Oil"!
Always a good time watching one of your videos.
Thanks!
Thank you for your APPRECIATION
Enjoyed watching the Three Musketeers. Sorry you couldn't get it started but it looked to be in pretty bad shape. Enjoyed the video Hank as always.
Thank you. We enjoyed having James down
3 stooges !!
Hello there cowboy here again so Willy tell me something what do they call a crescent wrench down in the island's ??? A Bimani socket set lol I guess ya gotta be a marine mechanic to know that one well good to see y'all again remember always be safe healthy and happy God Bless 🤠
Hey guys, I spent three years hauling carpet from Columbus Georgia to St. Louis, Missouri via Dalton
👍
Cool truck.
ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO GUYS
Thank you!
3 professionals on a will it start and did it start, well no. Oh well. Safe travels
LOL. 1 pro and 2 knuckleheads. 😂
Love thim old trucks
You are all so posivitive. If one of you were negative I bet you wouldn't need all those batteries....
lol
The part you was pointing to where you said something screws on there, that's where the ether bottle goes
Wow. Unlike my wise crack comments, a serious input. Good to see a positive comment. Most folks just put Hank and his team down. My comments are just for laughs. If you haven't already figured it out, I'm a retired chef. I couldn't even start the little red tractor. Lol. As always, all the best to everyone. Chef Scott 👩🍳
Cool
oh that's right! I didn't even consider it when hank was talking about it.. nice catch
@@JamesPretty the only reason I know about it is because my autocar has one on it. I see you're down in my neck of the woods on vacation. I like watching yalls videos too. Aren't yall from jasper ga?
@@markwilliams4525 thanks mark I appreciate ya

Hank, the song is by the group Pilot. David Paton was the lead singer.Just FYI. 😁🎶
👍🕺🏻
It can be done, it just has to be in the garage for a complete rebuild
I've got a new one: "That battery's makin volts"
Lol
Wiley the diesel whisperer and Mr pretty the cab over whisperer and ol Hank the infiltrater terminator
Дайте этому мужику кепку! Пусть будет частью банды!))
James is just a chainmail vest short of being Bennett's identical twin from the movie Commando!!!🤣🤣🤣
hahaha I love it
@@JamesPretty Just to be clear, I didn't say that to be a smartass or to make fun of you; I just watched the movie last week on Disney+ and the first thing I thought watching this video is "Man, that guy looks like Bennett!!!". That being said, I did take a look at your channel, and I've got plenty more content to watch for days to come! Cheers! 👍
@@Trueno1600 no worries. I took no offense
Will See YOU! On NEXT ONE
You must be proud to have a son like Wally I know I would
When guys said Farm deisel my late Father did to his Stakes and Highway Tractor trucks but in 2002 in Canada not allowed do or get MTO take you off road & fine by police and put right Desiel in after drain out ! Can't even put Automatic Transmission fluid to fuel to help lube injection pump also injectors to no more and shame because sure did better years help keeping in tip top shape last longer too ! New stuff used in Desiel fuel not my favorite and plus electrical more add in engines parts wear out faster! Also Hank those Cirsen Wrenchs talk about have lots them hear of Canada, USA , Twiana, Chain , Honk Kong made my late Grandfather Harold and Late Dad had for years !
👍
It'll run couple good batteries and a starter and bolt's you'll be rite, all the best to yous and your loved ones
Thanks!
Hank. You ain't gonna be starting that old 1975 model Pete with the 325up Cat today unless you have some fuel lines and a starter. Don't be trying to explain stuff Hank. Just run the camera. And no singing!❤🇺🇸🐘
It’s true!
Nice interior
I thought so too
Hank is Wally what he wants for that peterbilt
Banana spiders and big Cherry spiders and snakes watch out for those
Enjoyed the video Hank
Actually the one I told u about, has a full Corvette dash ,not just half,I stopped and look at it the other day.
You should get a huge rubber band and a way to twist it up, to replace the starter. I know, I've said it myself, none of my advice is worth listening to. My comments are strictly for giggles. As always, all the best to everyone. Chef Scott 👩🍳
I like it
Thats pretty much same set up i learned to drive on road ranger 13 single axle Ford 12 and hauling out logs from bush to rd and dropping trailers the good old days I had so much fun and today can drive anything with wheels and today they would try to prevent things like that whats wrong with the world
Cool
👍👍
Better luck next time
