    I was shopping at my local grocery store the other day when I spied Aman from across the isle. He had a look of devious mischief in his eyes and I knew something was about to go down. Before I knew it, He was on top of me, ripping a hole in my abdomen and pulling out a large peice of meat. I was horrified and in agony to realise it was my liver. Aman whipped out a frying pan right there in front of me. He began cooking, exclaiming 'Its the new fried liver baby', 'Free elo'. By the time the cops showed up, Aman had run away, shouting 'That's a KO, get him outta here'. DO NOT SUPPORT THESE GUYS.

    Before I found this opening I was broke, single, and could not win a game in the blitz pool. Now that I found Qe2 I got a new job at the Wendy's Drive Thru, found a pickleball partner and had Kramnik post "interesting statistics" about my winning streak. Thanks Chessbrah!

      I think unless you want to learn a lot of theory to survive you should stick with the Sicilian. Just learn a few lines of the Taimanov and Kan and you never walk into traps. You just get a normal game of chess with an equal position and no stupid mate after 8 moves

      I tried it twice as a 2100 rated player and I beat an 1800 who castled, but I got checkmated in 15 moves against a 1600 who played Nd4 and proceeded to play perfect moves lol. I think ironically (ar least in blitz), this opening might work better against higher rated players as lower rateds tend to focus a lot more on their own threats than their opponents' which makes it more likely they end up playing Nd4, almost accidentally refuting the opening.

    A couple of days ago, I found myself at the International Space Station, attempting to renew my cosmic travel permit. To my bewilderment, the individual ahead of me in the space queue was none other than Eric. He had set up a makeshift tea party in zero gravity, passionately discussing the curvature of space-time and insisting that Tuesdays were the real culprit behind interstellar mishaps.
    But the real cosmic chaos unfolded when I peered through the service window. Aman, wearing a spacesuit adorned with glitter and disco lights, was engaged in an otherworldly dance-off against the consul. They twirled, moonwalked, and even attempted a zero-gravity breakdance routine.
    Politely, I asked if they had any plans to conclude the celestial dance-off and resume processing space permits. Their response? A cosmic chuckle that echoed through the void.
    Defeated and grounded, I had to return to Earth in a state of cosmic disillusionment. It seems supporting these spacefaring mischief-makers isn't conducive to smooth interstellar bureaucracy. Don't support these guys.

    The issue I have with the opening is that if they play nd4 you can basically resign on the spot because of Qd1, d5 xd5, bg4.

    • @DMunz1
      @DMunz1 Před 5 měsíci

      I just played a game where after Ng5, opponent attacked in the center with d5, xd5, then Nd4. This hangs the e5 pawn with check and king slid over to f8. But now the c2 square is under attack with a fork. Engine says best move is to castle and just lose the rook in the corner, or play Na3. In any case, if they don't fall for this trap you're easily -1 to -2 even if you play perfectly. My literal first game trying this and opponent was 1300, idk if people fall into this trap as often but having such a poor opening as white, i'd rather go with something more solid.

      @@hareldavidson738 I did read your comment correctly. your comment actually says "if you don't know the ENGINE response" which is different than if you had said "the BEST response." A person does not need to have prepared with the engine to play nd4. people are perfectly capable of playing the best move on the 5th move of the game, in which case the person playing with white would be completely lost with no double edged position. hence, you are wrong. there is nothing double edged about a completely losing position that does not require knowledge prior to the game in order to play correctly as black.

    @shadeburst Před 20 dny

    Qd2 is pretty cunning and gives the gambit teeth, even if it gives black a tempo to launch a counter-attack. In the opening I'll trade a rook for bishop and knight check the worry in my eyes because well into the middlegame piece count is as important as point count. Opponent wants to make a quick profit rook and a pawn for a knight but it doesn't always work like that. I mention that I often play Qe7 against pesky bishops going for a Muzio on f7 to prevent me castling, and the analysis says it's a mistake... while white is trying to de-liver me, my knight is busy forking king and rook.

Bc4 Bc5 4. Qe2...everything going well so far! We are right on track. And theeeen of course they always play d6 instead of Nf6. So now I can't play Ng5 because black's queen is still guarding the g5 square. Here I will usually play c3 to avoid Nd4. I know a bunch of, quite frankly weaker players, are talking about 5.Nd4, but after Bxf7 Kf8 Qd3 h6 c3 hxg6 cxd4 exd4 b4 Bxb4 Bb3, a line that nobody at your tiny little elo would ever find in the first place, black is only better to the engine because the engine has non-human ideas that you can't even find yourself without checking your pathetic little engines. The fact of the matter is, practically speaking, white can just castle and develop and is better even in the 5.Nd4 lines and clearly if the GM's can't find the ideas and follow ups neither can you. Honestly, the fact is, if you are playing Nd4 you are likely a cheater. Not probably, but you are likely cheating. Aman may barely be a GM, but he is still not as dumb as you 900's.

      Big Hikki could find 5.Nd4 even if the chessbrahs couldn't.

      Aman is barely a GM and you are absolutely u doubtedly a GGM. All opponents open with gg against LordMayo, with good reason.

    If I saw 5. Qe2 (or 4. Qe2 for that matter after 3...Nf6), I would smell a rat here of home-cooked prep and play d6 immediately. White is then forced to play a regular chess game. No sacs work on f7, the center isn't wide open for white to exploit. It's just normal chess.

      is it so simple tho? 2,2 stockfighs advantage only because of development lead you can uncastle the king aswell still a dynamic position

    your "unbeatable" opening is dead lost on move 5 to black's move of ng5. guess you might want to look up what the word unbeatable means before you put it in your title.
