Beautiful flowers, I live in the south of Italy and this summer the temperatures here went over 30° C, this thing caused the death of my tuberous begonias that were in shade. I would start to grow dahlias in pots, do you think that it is better don't start dahlias cultivation with this temperatures ? Will the dahlias tubers be cooked like what happened to my begonia tubers ?
In hot years I find that tubers are smaller than when it’s cooler, but they should still survive the winter and make good plants next year. They should be okay to start in pots if temperatures are below 22 degrees
@@Dahliaholicevery summer here in Puglia the temperatures go over 30°, year after year I will have always smaller tubers. I think I will not start dahlia's coltivation, thank you for your answer 😊
We found it disappointing too, Geoff, but fortunately for us we didn’t have to drive as far as you. There didn’t really seem to be anything different from what’s already available and what was there was much of a muchness.
I think white gold is named after the metal you see in jewelry, it's a "silver" not a "gold"... That's what I think anyways We had record high temperature here in the USA as well..

I think you are probably right. Heather has always been disappointed that I’m not very interested in jewellery!
