Wow! Now this is a True OTIS Lexan
Awesome elevator
That's not a Nixie tube indicator it's a Numitron. Numitrons are segmented and run on lower voltages than Nixie's.
these lexan fixtures are cool
There’s now an option to stop the ads on YT. It buffers when the ad(s) are over.
This is a neat find! It's a one-of-a-kind find, that's for sure!
There used to be a building in my area in Michigan with that rare indicator, unfortunately it got modded, but still nice find those indicators aren’t the most common thing out there
Dieselducy I haven't seen you for a long time?
Almost exactly like the indicator made famous by The Elevator Channel at Tan-Tar-A in Osage Beach, MO
Very awesome! I love the nixie indicator!
I can think of so many places that HAD these years ago but have been modded. (You filmed one... Ramada Eau Claire)
@@DieselDucy The bldg. is still there. It's now The Lismore, a DoubleTree Hotel. They got a KONE mod but the Dover tractions in the adjacent parking ramp are still there.
This is awesome!
Awesome!
This is like one of kind.
This is amazing
Awesome lexan
Was it a hydraulic elevator system or a passenger cable elevator systems? Thank you.
That is very cool.
Nice elevator
Nice
I saw one just like this in Michigan
Traction or hydraulic.
The Capri condo and Irene condo have those floor indicators too.
@@evan22303 Oh yeah. I think everything on Condo Row is modded now, besides the convention center elevators at the Clarion, and the service elevators at the Carousel
I was up there on a day trip from Nova in July. The Clarion is now called Ocean City Fontainebleau. They painted it white. My parents took me to OC in my childhood many times when I lived in the DC area. Now I live in Raleigh. Myrtle Beach is my new beach destination.
I know it as the Clarion. It's been that for soooo long
Never been to Myrtle... would give it a chance if I had an opportunity
looks like a segmented display? nixie is not segmented, you sure its not orange vfd?
There have been segmented Nixie tubes made- the Burroughs B7971- but they are larger than these. This is most likely a plasma digit display.
Could be a B5971, which I think it is from the shade of orange. But could also be a filament Numitron display.
aren't those lexan fixtures?
@@dmvelevatorsandmore There is one in a hospital just like this i need to film
I’m the 300 view of this vid
@@jasonespinoza3179 reminds me of a us some us elevators use this sort of imdicator
Facts we know about the elevator so Brandon doesn’t have to state obvious door close works ⬆️ and ⬇️ doesn’t work
@@ECFE I know it was for Brandon because he always states obvious
@@Elevatingtransportation370 Yes and no matter what you say he's not going to stop, since he's incapable of controlling himself. You can, but you choose not to
This is probably one of the coolest Lexans around for this reason alone
