So excited to try viper. I agree with people saying it seems more like what the rogue would become rather than ninja. Funny enough I remember when rogue first came out it had a buff called kiss of the viper lol
So I played a LOT of 11 way back so this new alliance raid is going to be as nostalgic for me as ivalice was for those that played 12 and tactics (I just quietly dread a certain tatarutaru's potential return >.> And for those that don't know ff11 terms I am not referring to our lovely coinkeeper)
All I ever wanted from a second scouting job was dual swords or a twinblade AND I GOT BOTH OF THEM IN ONE I WAS SCREAMING To say nothing of its outfit being sooooo pirate-coded, both scouting being pirates at their core is the icing on the cake Bless this game
What I’m most curious about is the female voice speaking at the end of the trailer; she was probably the mysterious NPC that Erenville was escorting at the end of 6.5 MSQ. There must be a reason why they’re hiding her so thoroughly. My guess is that she’s a fem Hrothgar and she’ll be revealed in the full trailer 👀
It's kinda sad to see that not a lot of people are as excited for this expansion as the previous ones. I'm really hyped about it since i was wondering about the new world ever since i started playing blue mage because the origin of the art was founded in the new world and I don't really get why people don't like the fact that the story doesn't revolve around a world ending plot. Let the party have a break for once.
Tbh I don't think it's not that people aren't excited. Many of us are. I mean just look at the crowd cheering. I think it's mostly that the game has grown so popular now that it attracts more trolls and that's why twitch chat is so spammy. I mean it's still was before but not as much. Also some people seem to think spamming emotes in chat is criticism for some reason. Criticism is fine and healthy for the game so long as it's done constructively. Spamming emotes and throwing insults at the devs won't help. And a lot of changes made in Endwalker were because the devs listened to feedback. Now the same people complain because those changes were made. It's so weird.
@@Chubbs244 from what i could have been able to gather the main issues a lot of people have is "lack of hardcore content" and "the jobs playing to similar" the first one I don't really care about tbh because i rarely do savage stuff legitimately. But the second one is so weird to me. Like from what my friend who brought ne into this game told me back then you could take certain skills from other jobs and use them on a completely different one or you had to level 2 specific jobs to play a 3. One. Giving the game more "variety like wow" but ive been told that this system sucked and people wanted it gone. Now its just a faint memory of the past and people still complain so I'm just sitting and tilting my head in confusion. I accept that the game isn't perfect and i have some minor nitpicks myself. (Dark knights shadow clone for example) but thay doesn't stope from having fun
The oddity about this reveal is that we're at the 2/3th of the Trailer's full structure and we haven't seen Krile (despite being 1/2 of the reason we're even sailing to Tural in the first place) Also, they're REALLY keen on hiding Alphinauld's face this time around. I'd like to think that Alphinauld started his spurt earlier and they'll reveal it then but so far, of all the Scions; Alphinauld and Krile remain absent. Guess half of these are getting answered for JP Fanfest (personal theory, the lady voice that calls Tural "her home" is literally on the boat with them just obscured with how much wide shots they do of the boat) Other than that, Viper reminds me of PSO2 Bouncers and the Jet Blades (but the design is obvlously a combo of Zidane from FF9 and Gabranth from FFXII)
I agree with all of this but I predict that Krile will reclass into the new caster DPS and they'll show her in the final, full trailer at JP Fanfest when they reveal the caster.
I mean, all the pieces are literally spelling out at this point that there's no way its NOT FemHrothgar. If the legs are not enough of a tell, its also the fact that she almost has the same way of speech as any of the voiced Hrothgars in-game@@WolfMasterXV
It's almost given. They DID make Krile a bit more active during Thaleia too, showing her actually do fighting after so many expansions where she just kind of idles by. Which Job it will be is still up for debate since Viper pretty much blows any "is this taken from another FF game" since now we know that Yoshi-P is open to forming some of his own OC Jobs.@@pupsinsbarks
So I have 2 theories for why they're not showing Alphinaud at all, one sensible and one crackpot Sensible theory: he's getting a haircut or some sort of makeover to give him more individuality Crackpot theory: he's actually gonna be repping Pictomancer as we know he's a good artist XD
