Ilia was the first male skater that I love. And it's just so heartwarming to see him still do this great 11 years after turning pro. This particular performance of "Song for the King" was among his best, and the Korean fans in that arena were so great and lucky.:)

아이스쇼에서 본 선수 중에 가장 인상깊었다. 스피드 제일 빠르고 점프도 제일 높고 붕 떠서 사뿐하게 랜딩하는데 감탄사가 절로 나오더라. 은퇴한지 10년이 넘은 스케이터인데 정말 대단함. 올림픽 때 보고 좋아했었는데 바로 은퇴해서 너무너무 아쉬웠으나 뒤이어 야구딘 플루센코가 나왔으니 은퇴하길 잘했다는 생각도 드네.
After 11years, I nearly cry as well when was watching this performance! Audience were very nice! The music was beautiful! Ilia was a remarkable skater! Ilia is the King 🤴 I hope he is still skating and training younger people! Thanks for this video!

Любовь к самой восхитительной, самой очаровательной женщине Екатерине Гордеевой ,оказалась сильнее всех спортивных наград. Ради любви он пожертвовал карьерой. Его не испугала ни разница в возрасте, ни наличие у неё ребенка.Браво Илья. Я всегда восхищалась и преклонялась перед настоящими мужчинами и их поступками. Именно поступками а не пустым бахвальством, трепом и лязганьем языком. Любовь нужно доказывать на деле а так это пустой звук.Катя молодец, что выбрала Илью. Он достойный мужчина. Мужчина с большой буквы. Желаю их крепкой, дружной семье ещё больше счастья, любви и всего всего самого наилучшего.
Now just watching this program for the 1000th time and it still brought tears to my eyes. I don't know why but it made me think a lot through his skating career, both competing and pro. It really is very thoughtful, not only just beautiful skating. I think he was also telling the story of his own with this performance.

I just want to see him without that headband holding back that gorgeous hair!! Why would he want to do that?? his skating is so pure and wonderful-he should let that beautiful mane fly!! LOVE my Ilia!
I'm in mixed between at this long hair (headband) or short hair, I hadn't seen him for a while since 1998, and now that he changed a lot (rather not ask), better late than never for now (trying to get away from the drama of figure skating there).
