When i worked for Pizza Hut in about 1995, the stuffed crust cheese was just wisconsin string cheese. It came sealed in big boxes and there were something like 7 of them per pizza. Some chains these days are using some kind of cheese paste that probably gets extruded from a big caulking gun sort of thing.
Awesome that is interesting. Off all the ways that I've envisioned stuff crust being made, that was not one of them. It seems so obvious now lol. I am going to do this
