  • This video is only to help those just getting started in junior garden tractor pulling or for basic stock or slightly modified classes. Please always check with your local organization regarding rules and regulations. I am not a expert and this video is only to help answer some of the most common questions I have received.
    We have the Sears suburban 459 predator swap and the Sears K341 kohlor swap featured in this video and hope to have videos regarding them in the future.
    Remember to be safe and have fun.

      Glad it was helpful. We unfortunately didn’t get to pull a lot this season but we will have some more content on pullers coming soon…. If I ever get around to editing videos.

    would recommend building a triangle brace i used a sears for years and i have broken a few of the trans because of the case flex case there made of aluminum, but after i built that brace and i also weldless locked the trans as well, I haven't broke it yet and im runing giant pullers on mine at 26x12x12 and im got new pully to put one the motor to turn it up can sent a pic of the brace if you want a reference

      How did you build your brace? We have broke some of the two pinion spider gear rear ends. Have changed out two the newer three pinion rear ends with the splined hubs.

      @@keithherring2432 I welded heavy metal triangle for the back and used a 3x3 heavy metal angle and pillow block barring with steal hubs

    Got one of those tractors all stock but is a pulling lil thing .. want to get into pulling but like you said everyone told me shaft drive. Buddy glad I found this video.. where do find tires and wheels? Thanks again..👍👍

    • @cbr600rx7
      @cbr600rx7  Před 2 lety

      The rims I found locally and cut the centers out then re welded them in. Tires are off Amazon 26-12-12s. Some places do sell nice aluminum rims with what ever off set you need and pulling specific tires. Check with your local clubs because some one may have a used set for cheap

    what motors can you run in each class and what modifications can you make to them

    • @cbr600rx7
      @cbr600rx7  Před rokem

      That depends on what club you are with and the class. Most of your stock classes are made to be just that. Very basic with minimal engine modifications. They can be divided between single cylinder, twin cylinder, displacement, tractor weight, or even HP depending on the club. My recommendation would be to find a club local to you and they should have a list of class rules.

    What do you think about the old case garden tractors? I just bought a case 224 (not for the intention of pulling) and it uses the hydraulic drive system. Is this system possible to pull? I don’t plan to pull real competitively just want to have some fun with it.

    • @jacobjones3820
      @jacobjones3820 Před rokem

      Yes but they tend to get hot and go to slipping like a automatic transmission when they start slipping they continue to slip

      @@jacobjones3820 thanks! I thought that may be the case. Surely it would be fine with just 1or2 hooks a time. I’ve been busting up hard Missouri ground with it and it’s been doing fine. I just want to try it at the local track sometime just for fun.
