    Wow! 5 Carberators?!?! I've been using cheap Chinese knock-off carbs for many years and only had a problem with one of them. It had metal flash from the casting process in the bowl that would randomly get sucked into the main jet and then fall back out. A customer brought it back and said it would not run. I kept it for two weeks to cut my complete yard almost twice before it had any issues. I pulled the carb bowl off and found aluminum flash pieces in the bottom.

      So... turned out to be engine issues causing most of its problems. I ended up doing an engine swap. From what I could tell, this engine was put together out of other junk engines. One day it would run and the next it wouldn't. Couldn't sell it like that, found another engine and swapped it. The new carbs are likely OK...

      @@GlennsSpeedShop That makes sense. I’m sure quality control inspections are one they can cut costs but I’ve been pretty lucky with them. 😁👍
