Each to thier own.. Tel is old school, its nostalgic for us as thats who we looked upto as kids.. 20yrs ago it was all oasis, blur and britpop, and the 80s wernt far behind.. you cant expect the yougsters of today to connect with that era like we do.. its all dubstep and tackle tarts.. in another 20 years they will be looking back wishing the new VR videos their watching on their IGlsses were playing classic drum and base instead of the who know what.. LOL ace video tho, wish I could fish that place...

Tel desperately needs to release his books in an audiobook format. This is a no brainier as he’s the best at reeling off a tale, your there with him. Not a lot of people have got the ability to do that. I always revisit these after a few months as it’s engrossing content. Keep up the vids ESP with El Tel 🎣 🎣🎣
I was lucky enough to fish with Terry for 3 days with the Carp Society years ago. I turned up late for the junior fish in. They said as you're late there is only on person left who you can fish with. I said no problem, who is it? He said Terry Hearn! I think he was 27 at the time. The guy is a legend and a true great. He took me around to a bay and started spodding chum mixers at range into a southerly wind. He rigged up a zig rig and told me to cast out to a specific spot and advised to wait 10 mins for a bite. 10 mins later the rod screams off! Never forget it! :-)

And not one tackle advertisement was mentioned. Subtle ESP gear on show perhaps but nothing more. Peaceful surroundings, how carp fishing should be.

Terry the only problem with your videos is you dont do enough off them.
The way you talk,the enthusiasm ,the joy on your face ,seems you never get bored off telling us these story's in your own magical way.
Thank-you to the cameraman also he captured the very essence off you on that magical estate lake.
Brilliant made half hour seem like seconds.please do more in the future Tel,feel we dont get enough off one off the truly great anglers off our time.

Catching the same fish 20 years on I had a tear on my eye like old friends meeting again :-)
As a match angler whom always scratched his head at the old sitting behind buzzers lark, this film and the other 3 or 4 where Terry Tells a tale of his fishing trips this makes far better television than Ali Hamidi and Co ladding it around Europe catching big carp. The sequence where he re captures an old friend from 20 years previous has to be one of the best things I’ve seen in carp fishing. Really special. Well Done Terry & ESP

Well done ESP, beautifully shot and produced. Tel could make netting sticklebacks an entertaining and special experience, he just has the essence of everything that is good in fishing to his core. His enthusiasm even after all these years is just so infectious. Inspirational!
This might be the best piece of film in the after-A Passion For Angling-era, which I grew up with. Terry's one of the most talented, real and authentic carp anglers ever. This film does that justice. Excellent quality.

I feel like terry is such a nice bloke the carp let him catch them, they know they will be looked after and put back so gently. what a bloke.
One of my favourite carp anglers ever, he always seems so genuine and so passionate about carp without being over the top and silly. Terry and Kevin Nash will always be my favourites.

Reading in Mister Groothuis book, Seeing the episodes of A Passion for Angling as a little boy of mister Chris Yates and seeing Terry on pictures in magazines. If any of yer mates have the audacity to say 'Fishings boring' tell them to watch this. Ive caught hgundreds of carp but Tel must have had 100 times more. But the enthusiasm,commitment,excitement hes full of just shows how most of us feel. How young anglers shouId fish I'd love to get stoned with the lad.
