    Most modern cars if you try cranking with throttle at more than about 80% the ecm goes into "clear flood" mode and not fire the fuel injectors, just an FYI

      What kind of vehicles do you work on for a living?

    A 9.6 litre, 780 HP 4 cylinder! Damn, never knew Chevy made that kind of power! Top Fuel Dragster in disguise!

      Top fuel would be more like 10,000 HP. More like turbocharged Honda single cam lol...

    We had an old '65 F350 with a 352 rngine that we used for three weeks before a main bearing spun.
    It was dumping oil out the rear main seal so my Dad decided to put water in it.

    I wanna see what happens when ya put gas in a diesel engine.

    The better condition the engine is in the faster it will lock up from experience, old worn out engines run longer but then tend to fly apart spectacularly 😂 if you keep cranking it while hot it will grind some metal away then when cool it will either have no compression or it will fire back up....also giving it a shot or two while cranking of WD-40 will increase compression a little and might get it fired again. Not too much or it will coat the spark plugs and stop it....its a fine balance of knowledge and skills, thats why people call a mechanic, if it was that easy people wouldn't need mechanics like myself 😂 Edit- The liquid i want to see in the crankcase is diesel, its slightly oily, but still a solvent, maybe oily enough to keep it From locking up immediately but enough of a solvent to make it eat the bearings, also adding crushed up glass, i mean like powder, put on a respirator, find a piece of metal, might be hard there i know and grind it between two pieces it won't take much effort, probably a fist sized amount of powderized soda glass from a bottle and it will maybe send a few parts out... unfortunately im in the business of saving crappy cars for stup...i mean highly intelligent people, so i cant do this myself 😢 glass was the ingredient in the cash for clunkers liquid that got some spectacular failures, but tended to lock them up too quickly, im hoping the oily diesel and glass mixture will get it deep into the bearings then heat up and melt. Mix the glass and diesel first as much as you can without too much effort, something is better than nothing it may float 😂

    Almost All fuel injected vehicles have what's called clear flood mode. If you try to start them with the throttle fully pressed it shuts off the injectors and they won't start.

  • @rottmanthan
    @rottmanthan Před 4 měsíci +2

    it not supposed to start if holding it wide open. its called flood mode, with full throttle you can prime the oil filter before starting the engine.

    Just leave oil in it. Watching an engine die never gets old. Yes, try some kind of oil though. Fun stuff. Thanks for sharing.

    Brother, what you should have done was drain the water, remove the old oil filter after the first 'lockup' then put in some cheap ass oil filter n cheap 10w30 then see what it would have done. If it ran on limiter for 20 mins then let it cool n drop all the coolant then start over. THAT WOULD OF BEEN FUN 😮😅

    Would you do a video about how someone goes about even starting a scrap yard? I was under impression it’s really hard nowadays, or must like buy a existing one. Curious to know the basics of what’s needed at least where you are maybe if someone wanted to start the business, what it would take to get it going besides needing scrap to process and recycle, and how it began from you to where you are now.
    Your def motivation to go for ya dreams man, keep scrappin.

    When I was driving in derbies the worst thing that could happen was to loose the water out of the radiator. The would sometimes blow sparks out of the zoomie headers.

    Has hydraulic lifters. And the water doesn’t give them enough pressure to open the valves.

    I think your gonna find that modern cars have a redundancy switch that when the vehicle loses oil pressure it shuts the engine off . An older vehicle non computer like that datsun or an old American v8 pre 19 85 it should run and scatter
