Hello Joe, thank you for dropping a line here, A days fishing would sink my boat as I never had the patience for it, however I will go to the farm with my camera and film an update for you. Although we are in the rainy season we have not had enough rain as yet to fill up Loch Leo but we can see what the progress is as of the 24th of July 2024. GT
Wife just sent me a Facebook link for a "nordic" style house in housing project in Chiang Mai with about 1/4 rai of land 145sqm house (including the covered parking!) for 4.3mil baht. This is far outside the city center too in are remote enough you couldn't even get food delivery. Total rip off to be living in a little congested moo ban. Land in the area is 2.5m/rai thanks to all the property developers bidding it up to build their little housing ghettoes. Such is Chiang Mai. For that area you're in though the price could be in the 5-6 mil range maybe? If it was closer to Chiang Rai probably 10+. I have no idea how to price properties, just taking guesses. What do you think?
I Think that I wouldn't live in Chiang Mai for a gold Pig, far to congested far to busy with tourists, My Garden is over 4 Rai and that is just a tad under two acres, we have our own water and a hybrid solar system, add to that two Kitchens 3 bathrooms 3 bedrooms a detached Guest house a 10mtr x 6 mtr workshop and two extra store rooms, Gardens fish and chickens. all for less than the price of an average semi on a postage stamp plot in the UK. 555
