OMGosh I love radish pods! They are so tasty!! Densely planting is a great idea. Companion planting too. I could be wrong, but not all seeds are viable...unless you buy heirloom seeds. Monsanto made sure of that. I'm curious about your fencing. What gauge of wire? Why do you have the cardboard along the base? Is the wire higher for deer? We're selling our sailboat and moving onto land next year (we bought a 1/4 acre this year) and plan on having a big garden, chickens and hopefully a beehive. There are only 2 of us so we don't need acreage. Cheers from a new subscriber!!
Thank you so much for watching! Good questions…. It’s 12guage 2x4” welded wire. 8’ posts in the ground but not cemented. Black is perfect because you sort of see through it. We used the same fencing for our dog run and she pushes it, it’s a bit flexible but fine for a garden space. These holes are big enough for small squirrels but our squirrels have so much food in the woods they leave the garden alone thankfully! We made it double high to keep our cat out because she decided it was a neat litter box haha! We have deer too so never have to worry. They do make a tighter weave though. I have cardboard on the back perimeter to create a new in ground bed there which I’d like to fill with sunflowers! Currently piling all the garden debris on top of the boxes then I’ll add soil and compost and logs in the front for a border. Congrats on your land purchase, I’m excited for you!! I find chickens to be so easy and such a joy. I would love to do bees soon, and now I want sheep. 😂 What a change for you from boat life to homestead life!
Thanks for all of the information, Sara. I'm Page. :) Yes, having a garden and chickens are the only things we miss living aboard the last 11 years - 12 if we sell next year and are able to head east to build. Happy gardening and I look forward to watching your channel grow!
덩굴식물들이 함께 어우려 진다면 더욱 멋질것 같아요
풍성한 정원 투어 영상 감사합니다.
Sorry about the quiet parts, I need a mic!
It's just fine :)
Your nasturtium is BEAUTIFUL! Mine just got it's first flower here in Vermont!
I was so surprised how much of the nasturtium reseeded from last year, I think that’s why they are thriving so quickly!
@@GrowWithSara ooo I'll have to leave mine alone in the fall and hope the same happens to mine next year!
@@MagicallyTaraSimone yes try it out! I hope it works well!
