Lyrics:
Sebek, Sochet, Suchos. Dread Lord of the Marsh. He Who Crawleth Amongst the Sacred Waters. And Devoureth the Flesh of that Which is Sacrificed unto Him. Tua Ashemu. Rekhes Au Sebek. Tua Ashemu. Tua Ashemu. Sebek, Neter, Ashemu. Whose Teeth Rendeth and Teareth With Terrible Violence. Restore the Eyes of the Dead. Collect Their Skulls. Join Their Bones Together Again. Lord of the Temple of the Mount of Sunrise. Open the Way unto the Underworld. Cause the Dead to Rise to New Life. Bring the Child Horus upon the Throne of Osiris. - Hudba
Dude headbanged half the hair right off his head. That's fucking brutal.
ROFLMAO

My whole left side hurts from this comment 😩

‘Metal is a waste of time!’
Nile: teaching history
History of course although they also brutally teach Egyptology.
I played this song on guitar in history class as a presentation for the Egyptian culture and the god Sebek, they actually enjoyed it!
That a boy, I love it.
you are who i want to be when i grow up
Nice
No1 cares fat nerd
That is rad
-So what did you sacrifice unto Sebek?
-NILE: Our frontal lobe hair
That's actually sad
2:06 whenever I go to guitar center

George Kollias and Nile, the Annihilation of the Wicked album in particular, was the catalyst that got me into extreme drumming. I remember when this video first appeared on the tv show Uranium. I must have been drooling when I saw his one footed blastbeats. George Kollias really changed the drumming game for me. Lots of respect to him and Nile.
Wasn't that Derrick Roddy on drums?
Nopers.
Fotis Bernardo and George Kollias are both awesome Greek drummers
I bought my Axis Longboard pedals because of George and what he did here. Made the single-foot blastbeats cleaner.😊
Pacik suka music ala padang pasir
The level of musicianship is off the fucking charts, Dallas over here banging his skullet looking like an absolute maniac, Karl growling and shredding from the depths of hell with a fucking spear guitar, and Kolias headbanging doing 360 bpm blast beats.
I love old Nile
Hard to beat! Annihilation has one of the tastiest guitar tones in dm
George kollias is a goddamn machine
I love how it starts out with a melodic riff then the rest of the song is relentless brutality with AMAZING instrumentation
You could copy and paste this description onto any Nile song and it’d be accurate
@@FormedBox especially user maat re and unas, they just jumpscare you!
@@FormedBox yeah, they just got it
The inspiration for the next hit Cannibal Corpse song: "Stabbed by a Guitar"
Good one
🤣🤣🤣🤣😬😬🤣🤣🤣🤣
But all jokes aside, that is the best looking guitar I have ever seen
Edit: impaled buy a guitar

What a amazing technical death metal band.. My favorite metal band ever..
Technical Brutal Death Metal
Truly in a class of their own. Phenomenal writing. Easily one of the most creative unique bands in death metal.
in all metal!!!!! atmospheree! riffs!!! vocals! song structure!!! they are awesome...
Nile is the one death metal band that has actually been growing on me as of recently
0:44 I DEVOUR YOUR COFFEE
There’s a general theme of coffee in death metal (hammer smashed face)
0:59 "Dont forget de sugar" :D
XDDDDD
Haha I had to rewind that about ten times
0:59 Don't want evil syrup
Nile have the most talented bassist in all of metal.
Origin has
I've seen Nile at least 35x at a club in SC called Ground Zero in the 90s. Fukn awesome to see them worldwide now. Always impressive.
Buck Lee I've seen plenty of bands at ground zero.. fixing to go see Hate and Belphegor there in November
That’s a great fucking name for a club.
These numbers impress. Hell yes!
This shit is so fuckin' powerful man, no clue why I haven't given these guys a listen (until now)
You are in for a real treat if you haven't checked out their discography yet. Nile is an unbelievable band. Annihilation of the Wicked in particular is fantastic.
Go and listen to Annihilation of the Wicked
@@odeleon24 yeah, the burning pits of the duat, that one always makes me headbang involuntarily
"Sebek Neter Ashemu, Whose teeth rendeth and teareth with terrible violence"
Fucking metal
That 'wall of noise' is just sublime lol. Lots of death metal bands try to achieve it, but only a few get the balance between heaviness, melodic structure, drumming, vocals and guitars as perfectly as Nile. Like a symphony that comes together perfectly.
My band is playing this at the talent show next year in school
Upload it. I gotta see this
+Nellson Stout I can't wait
I'm playing I cum blood , lmao
+Octavio Gutierrez dude Sweeeeeetttttt cannibal is my favorite
You better upload it
Take your girlfriend to the beach in the evening, light a fire, play her this song and tell her you love her...
lmaooo
If she doesn't leave after the song
jajajaja nice i will try it :D
RiNSpy my gf would love this 😂
Andres Larenas be sure to record it when you do lmao
Insane skill to be able to play those technical fast riffs whilst also doing vocal duties... Just incredible!
It is always at 2:14 that gives me the goosebumps. The entire song builds up a feeling of energy which is released at that point for me for some reason.
Nile is probably the subconscious reason why I became an egyptologist later on.
I love how so many Nile songs begin like other metal songs end.
Nile is probably the heaviest band I've seen live. I've seen a lot of death metal live but Nile crossed into another realm.
Hmm I'm falling more and more in love with this music. The energy, the athmosphere, the brutality... it gives me the chills when I listen to it, in a good way. Hard to describe but it is awesome anyway!!
This song changed my life, simply perfect!
First time listener. Honestly this is fantastic.
Just discovered this band and goddamn man my ears are ringing in the most pleasurable way... The elusive eargasm I've been searching for. This is sheer brutality that epitomizes what death metal should sound like🔥🤘
Respect from Algerian.
One of the best technical DM bands.
LOL! Did any of you notice the shape of that soloist's guitar? He could literally skewer someone's skull with that thing.
Really?! damn! That is SO METAL!
hahaha! But at least it wasn't your skull
+William Munson It actually has a name, like all legendary Egyptian weapons blessed by Anubis. It's name is "The Golden Spear." (For real) He has more than one.
+Daniel Broach That's awesome, I've always thought it looked some sort of weapon, but I never knew it was actually made after one. \m/
I don't know if it's actually designed after a real spear, but that is the name of the guitar.
Notice Nile and dying fetus are both tech death bands with two vocalists. Also notice that they are both awesome.
Ellis the ShredLord now 3. Brad and Brian both sing different parts Dallas used to sing before he left. Karl sing all his parts and the odd Dallas part
Also notice how Origin has 3 vocalists and theyre also awesome
@@vitunpelle602 the number 3
Also notice that both have absolutely insane drummers
@@sefisyara5961 exactly, george is top 10 death metal drummers, def in top 20 for metal in general, top 50 for best drummers ever
2019 still here listening 💪💪
Real drummer, real guitarist and real vocal, THIS is a real metal band ;
I love egyptian mythology and I love NILE!

ALL THOSE WEEGEES SACRIFICE... UNTO Wii!!!
Haha! Literally better than the lyrics themselves!
HAIL NILE FOREVER!!!🤘👹🤘
This has to be the most demonic guitar tuning I have ever heard! Is it drop A tuning? What an epic song though! 👊🤘
The recent tour to Egypt reminded me of this band and their songs. Hard relate 🤘
0:48 SACRIFICE UNTO REEEEEEE!!!! 😂😂😂
I wanted to listen to some tech death but instead I'm dying of laughter xD
Why did it sound so quiet, this song should be booming.
Toxic Potato And?
Toxic Potato are u sure there's just not a bassist in the video? pretty sure the song was recorded with bass or that would be fucked up
+Toxic Potato wtf are u talking about, you can clearly hear jon vesano's bass at 0:59
+Toxic Potato Volume has nothing to do with whether there is a bass or not
+John Sheen The Crazy Savatage Fan All the compression in the fucking world
i'm always amazed by this band just for the fact that all the parts of each song are so intricate and complex in their own right and it only took 3 people to create
I never want to piss these guys off... EVER!!!
I love this band
What's the point of owning a guitar if you can't kill anyone with it, right?
Why is the volume so damn low, even with my headphones in and laptop volume maxed?
Nick Shelton cause ur laptop n headphones have shit volume capabilities or one of them is broken. Perfectly fine on my desktop n speakers at 1/4 volume
Simon Lussier lmfao, no it's not. This isn't the only person to say this video is quiet. I'm using $200 Sennheiser HD 380 Pro's on a laptop with w/ an aftermarket soundcard as well as Beats Audio equalization and booster, and I still have to turn it all the way up to get the full experience of the song.
Loqtrall Same here. Got a pair of Sennheiser HD-201s (cheap but good asf) and a Line 6 Pod Studio UX2. Too damn low.
It has nothing to do with the volume, the production is just lacking
Fucking Bitch
I see the Nile running through that desert forehead the lead singer has
So great song......nile and relapse records....
Goosebumps. Love this band!
my first metal band i ever heard

Keep bringing the sacrifices. For this pleases me
The heaviness of Nile remains unmatched in the genre.
Back when Dallas was damn near rockin' a Skullet.
Mr. Sinista Productions, LLC. Lmao man, that is funny...but don't disrespect his haircut...the ladies love it, I'm sure they are sad he cut it off and they are sad that the sexiest guy also left the band.
Legendary.
These guys are AWESOME live!

DON'T WANT MY CEREAL!!!!
I want Dying Fetus to cover this song
Awesome
I'm glad you told us all. Really matters to me.
Karl's guitar is truly one of a kind! can a guitar be made anymore brutal?!?!.......
Goddamn, I miss this Nile. 🖤
Nile is man's music.
Just awesome!
Ah Bass guitar... when you can see it, you can't hear it; when you can hear it, you can't see it. Poor instrument
Thrashmetalkicksass wtf the bass is probably if not the most important then the second most important instrument in a band. Just think how many metal bands went on without a bassist and which ones did a career...
Yeah man but it was just a joke, 'cause there's no bass player in the video
@@Thrashmetalkicksass Puts down angry bass player pitchfork reluctantly
The bass player was going to be in the video but got impaled on Karl's guitar and perished... you can even see the blood on the tip of the headstock.
The bass tone on that album sucks. Only certain points in songs can you hear it
i just love the egyptian riffs! This song is so great , and one of the best death metal bands! 5*
I love their guitar sound. That's the best part of the music to me.
They're one of the best! Clean superfast brutal!!
this song is fucking insane where do i find more like this oh god

bassist was out enjoying some vacations lol
lol😂😂
panzer waffen we all know there is no bassist in the studio
Ivan Lunev thank you
This is a great band, but there really needs to be more bass.
Not in the video though
Nile are one of the few death metal bands with a lot of soul and feeling in their music
Going to see them live tonight!!! Hope they play this!!!
I'm glad to have seen them live
I saw this band in 2010. someone in the audience yelled "Bring back the skullet!!" cause Dallas had a shaved head
Drummer is more than a god !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
at last, a guitar that can impale people!!!
Chief Spires was a very good frontman and bassist. Nile Rules!
The bassist is so cool in this video ahahah
That face at 2:03
best song from nile

Spent the last 2 hours trying to play this, i got most of the riffs down but i cant handle the speed! THE SPEED! SHIIIT
Sorry for asking you but what strings do you use for this drop A tuning ? Thanks forward ! :)
It's not that fast. I learned it by ear and it ain't that fast. I mean I've played guitar for 7 years so I guess it comes with experience. How long have you been playing guitar? And I actually found a way to play some Nile songs in d tuning
im using .13's. cant really go higher than drop d thought with a zr bridge. ive been playing 9 years. speed has just never been a massive thing for me until recently. i can probably hit 80, maaaaybe 90% on this though. still cant do it at 100%
Do you practice scales or cool little licks, etc?
It really helped with my speed. I also play a lot of Death songs so my alternate picking just keeps improving.
I saw these guys. They put on a good show!
la mostruosità tecnica dei Nile è favolosa! :D
Karl's headstock is so fucking brutal
