It's a slippery slope on projects. I've done any bike and I have a gas when I haven't started in on yet but the parts are on the way. Not to mention the old mountain bike build that I want to do room is becoming a problem.lol
I had one of those 2 stroke 80cc motorized gas bikes for 2 months. but it was constant maintaince 24/7, chain locking, snapping, carb bogging, trying too get the damned oil ratio right. bike tried to kill me on a couple occasions. but it was still fun as hell too rip 34mph when it did run. I did get rid of that bike and bought me a 1000watt fat tire 20ah ebike that goes 31mph consistently with a range of up to 80+km and I'm quiet happy with that. got it discounted 850 down from a 1000 worth at least 1500. custom specialized ebike from a unknown Chinese trading company somewhere...
@@MotorizedGarage I see that amazon has cheap brushed motors for $200 (US). for 1800 watts. chain driven just like a motorized bike. might be worth checking out.
I bought one almost identical for $125 got it to start once. Had a Jack shaft kit got in it broke the derailleur on the first ride. Digging in it has a lot of problems I think I'm just going to convert it back to a regular single sprocket.
Yeah I've seen the Jack shaft kits before, they look pretty cool but none of my bikes have functioning gears on them. If I were to get one, I think that bbr makes a good one so I would consider getting one of those cuz the Amazon ones The reviews are either hit or miss
Also just so u know stock jet in motorized bicycle is 70 i use a 70 in one bike a a 72 in the other but it depeneds on elevation and temperature so it might be smaller or bigger for u
19:46 it should be able to do at least 30mph but i cant tell over vid if it sounds rich or lean i think rich tho but not the jet u changed the main jet that u switchd the other jet into i personally like the other carb u took off they only have a pilot jet and are easier to tune the jets are diffrent tho u have to get preditor 212 jets for it
