@@gametchanger I am from Australia, mate. The last few years have been horrific, government/lockdown wise. I also had a stillborn baby Son, who keeps me going. Finding God has saved me, but it's an almost overwhelming feeling. Please pray, for my future, as I have been questioning it, in recent months.

there is another version of this particular song, perhaps a different night, and Lisa actually managed to stitch him up to the point he was howling with laughter and was struggling to perform this song, Might of been the following night as revenge.
Ever the performer and entertainer, he really does live for this and puts 110% into every concert or singular performance he does.
Lisa has had her own massive career and has the same skill, intensity and power that he does. They really do complement each other when they both belt those astounding high notes.

@@gametchanger one of the most beautiful of John's songs is 'Burn for you', about the feeling of missing his wife while he was away from her, touring. Just an acoustic guitar.. There are many live performances of it, one wirg another Australian guitar legend Tommy Emmanuel (another performer you should react to - start with 'Classical Gas' with the most CZcams views).

There is a video, of John singing live, with Olivia Newton John. It was from 2020 for Fire Aid Australia. He still sounds amazing aged 71 when this was done.
The last time both performed sadly we lost olivia then Johns cancer

John Farnham is a British born Australian who mainly stuck to concerts in his home country and quite a few over here in New Zealand. He never really was what you would call a mega star, but throughout Aussie & NZ he is an icon. With such a powerful voice it is the live performances he loves. Interacting with his fans, John strives to make sure the crowd walked away from a stunning concert.
He even has a bit of a joke here & there. For me he has the most powerful, unique voice I've ever heard. Another thing about him everytime he's mentioned retiring, nope he just could not do it. Farnham is 72 and it was only a few years ago he did a concert in Auckland, NZ, he never missed a note.
Some of my favourites are 'That's Freedom', 'Reasons', 'Two Strong Hearts', 'When The War Is Over', and the ever popular 'Pressure Down'. Of course they're some of my favourites, but everytime he sings live it's always a thrilling experience.

John's recovering from a cancerous tumor that was removed from his mouth and he lost a Lil of his jaw after 11 hour surgery. Sending healing love to John and Jill.

Lisa is amazing and John knows that. I think they have been great mates for over 30yrs and a lot of his brilliant performers in concert with him. He always acknowledges all of them. Just a natual straight up bloke with a great sense of humour and a brilliant singer. Especially live. He thrives. We Aussies love him.
John at the moment is recovering from mouth cancer and has had part of his jaw removed and may not sing again so enjoy what you can find

I've only just come across your channel, a fee days ago now, through another Christian who does music reaction videos aswell and like yourself, fell in love with our Farnsy. So I was thrilled to find another Christian channel, enjoying John's work so much. Anyway, the reason I'm commenting is because there's a video I think you'd really enjoy, actually, there are quite literally hundreds of those, but these ones in particular are called Any Dream Will Do and Gethsemane from Jesus Christ Superstar, where John played the lead role Of Jesus. He did an outstanding job! I'll try and link the best versions.
