They had literally the perfect magazine for a P90 style loading system, and they use an internal one instead. Come on, Hasbro.

I have one of these things! It’s a cheap, comes with extra rounds, however loading is more cumbersome than something like the hera

Until today, I've exclusively used foam dart blasters, and never tried Rival products. I decided I wanted to start building a small Rival collection, and considering I'm planning to get the Nemesis and Kronos, neither of which have magazines, this is a nice addition. I don't expect to have any blasters with magazines any time soon, and they're frankly more helpful the more you have. So even if it's a little slower to reload, I'll take this over having only a single magazine any day.

Well you could find the Hera at around $40 at some retailers when it was newer but the charger definitely is a budget blaster

There was a nerf related video sponsored by Hasbro or something that showed a red Charger.I think they're just doing it in batches. Probably because it's cheaper or something. This does seem like a budget Rival blaster.

One cool thing about the charger is that you can actually fit it into pretty much any holster that fits the kronos. Just put it in upside down with the stock in first. It certainly looks weird, but it is surprisingly practical.

I just realized, they packaged 24 balls instead of 12 so you have an extra reload.
Weird that this is the ONLY blaster they bothered giving extra ammo for while the Knockout only has 2 measly rounds to offer.

You can actually speedload the charger with 12 round magazines, if you point the front of the mag into the loading port and press the eject button you instantly have a full blaster!

I saw this Video when it was 8 minutes out and first commented probably about 8 Mins Later.
I have one and I use it as something that I can throw on a sling and have a secondary that doesn't need magazines, which is good because I use the Nemesis as a primary.

I think that it could be moderately useful because if you lean down to scoop up a couple rounds just lying on the ground, it's easier to load them in and be ready to fire again when compared to a magazine

Might actually get this one for HvZ as a secondary since it would kinda fit on a sling with my Nemesis in hand and I carry a dumb pouch of ammo anyways. The bland paint actually might help because I repaint my blasters anyways :/

Nobody has mentioned that if you load 4 elite style darts in the magazine in a row and slide the door forward while revving it, it is basically a very fast 4 dart full auto blaster, same with mega but only holds 3 darts, havent tried ultra darts but I doubt the would work since they are a bit more solid
This is one of my favorite blasters in this series. I got it on sale for $20 at Walmart. If you are not a fan of the C batteries you can use rechargeable C batteries.

The dealbreaker is the loading mechanism. This thing fires auto and to have a loading system like that is really going to hamper the usabilty of it. Either youre constantly out of ammo an have to reload it slowly, or youre constantly topping it off and trying to hold yourself back from firing too many rounds.
The blaster looks like alot of fun, but it seems very impractical if you ever wanted to match against a friend

2 problems with this p 90 looking blaster
-Its SEMI auto
-The loading system is internal not magazine fed smh
I really don't mind it being semi auto. However I wish nerf would release a rifle that switches semi-auto and full-auto like the regulator but rival

My friend has one of these, and i love to just put about 3 nerf elite darts in the chamber and revit up, then SLAM the magazine hatch forward and get a nice BRRT effect for FULL AUTO

Me too I went to Walmart to buy some nerf guns and this was the only fly wheel nerf gun i found other than the tac smg
Same, this is the only flywheel model I think Walmart supplies, others models I hear are found at Target and other stores, which of coarse, are no where near me.
However I had to find mine at a Walmart a town over since mine didn't sell the Charger, and even then, they ran out! I had to wait until they restocked before finally getting mine.
