This game was not on my radar at all, but now I’d say it’s a must buy for me. Publishers, this is the guy you want covering your games! As always great overview Jon.
Thanks Todd, I'm glad you found this informative :)
I just have to say: Jon, thanks so much for doing all you do for the gaming community. You do such a great, concise, clear job of teaching games
Great in-depth tutorial, I was having troubles following the manual, but I think now I'll finally be able to play the game
Jon, man, you are a beast! What a great explanation of the game! Your tutorials and playthroughs are the best! Congrats
Definitely a buy after this review, keep up the great work...I love seeing new games explained on your channel!!!
I love your videos Jon - you way you pace them makes them so much fun to watch, and so helpful. Thanks.
Your play through are so soothing
Such a beauty! Great job as always, Jon!
This seems like a fairly solid 'rondel' game so to speak, very crisp and well done. Great tutorial as always Jon.
This tutorial is excellent. Thank you Jon.
Looks fantastic and it plays great, thanks for the amazing video!
Thanks for the clear explanation of the game, looking forward to playing it myself!
Fantastic tutorial. Thank you, Jon!
Your tutorials are top notch. Keep up the great work man
I'm impressed, your presentation is really well done.
Awesome tutorial, which is normal for you. I really like learning the game one turn at a time.
I love the looks and interactions of this game! Pretty thematic as well! Will keep an eye when it released later this month
I'm ordering this now. Thanks for the video!
Another Classy game from Osprey Games!
Mine just arrived today 😁 Thanks John!
Hey Jon! I just wanted to say that I have the option to watch many different "how to play type videos" but I always hope to see your tutorial playthroughs as my first choice.
Great overview. Super helpful
wow! not a single word about this game on Spiel and now the information are finally here
I hope you found this informative enough :)
Amazing tutorial, as always. Thumbs up for your excellect work! Do Brass: Birmingham btw :))
I love how the game looks and it was on preorder. after watching your review I decided to pass. Thanks for the awesome tutorial playthrough
I'm glad you found it informative, even if it made you realize the game isn't for you.
OMG instant buy !
Cover of game looked like game won't be for me, but I watched playthrough and just added another game on list I want to play, I might slowly, but surely become more eurogamer :D
Hi Jon!
This game looks interesting. It's complex, but not complicated. Do we know when it's going to be released?
I don't have hard dates, but I imagine it will be released quite soon. I filmed this with a retail version.
AT 45:10, is it true that the blue player cannot claim the teal resource from the red building?
That would only happen if they decided to activate the red building instead of their own.
Any tips on how to score many points in this game? I only finish around the 50 points mark and think I'm doing something wrong...
I only played a full game once and got 61 points, so I don't think I'm in a position to give any tips :P
Why did muggles invade?
ahhhhh is this better than calimala or what?
I haven't actually had a chance to play a full game of Merv yet. It is certainly a more complex and intricate game, I imagine some will prefer this one and others will prefer the more streamlined Calimala.
