Thanks sir. I was not able to decide which keyboard to buy. T2 or T3. After watching this gem I decided to buy the T2. No regrets here, it sounds really second to none. Its sound is so much thicker compared to the T3 or anything I’ve heard so fár. Great video, it really helps. This is how a comparison video should be done!
A superb video sir, i like tyros 2 like yourself hence i still have mine, i agree totally with what you say, i had original tyros and changed to tyros 2 because apart from obvious things like the start of super articulation etc it had really moved on in a massive leap from the original, the next couple of models to me in real terms had nothing more than the tinniest of tweaks which didn't particularly prove of any significant use to me personally and like you mentioned later models lost multi band comp etc, i have had and still have some newer models past that, my newest currently are Genos and MODX 7, yet still that doesn't mean my tyros 2 lies idol, particularly when starting to arrange something new i am drawn to start on the tyros 2 then move what i came up with across onto Genos etc for the flourishes so to speak, i have never had any screen issues either, although i must say that i am guilty of the screen being put up and down a lot, but in my defence i bought an official tyros 2 cover when i bought the keyboard new and that is why i've been doing that, maybe they should have included a wedge shape on top of the cover? Anyway thank you so much for a great new retrospective video on these amazing machines :) You have gained a new subscriber :)
It's not just my ears, the Tyros 2 sounds fuller and richer compared to the Tyros 3. Interesting. I know what I'm going to look to buy now. Thank you for this. I don't even have to be looking at the screen to know which one is playing at the time.
Personally if I bought a Tyros 2 back in the day I would have stuck with it. It's still a decent keyboard. But the Tyros 3 was the first Yamaha arranger keyboard to feature sliders allowing more realtime control over the virtual organ drawbars on the organ flutes sounds although you can also use the buttons under the display to adjust thew organ flutes. Last year I almost bought a Tyros 5 but I decided to put it off for a few years but Tyros 2 and Tyros 3 are a lot cheaper and also have green led buttons which are a lot easier on the eye than blue leds.
Great review with a lot of insights! To me the Tyros 2 sounds more captivating. The solo voices of the Tyros 3 sound smaller and as if they had more reverb. The full arrangement sounds a little more "produced" on T3, though. Does Armik use a Tyros for his backing track?
Salut. Miercuri imi vine si mie un tyros 3 . Stii cumva de unde pot fave rost de ritmuri de la noi. Eu ma aflu in Spania si daca pana la urma ai reusit sa i pui un ssd in loc de hd. Sanatate

Yes go for the Tyros 2, it's a much better keyboard. To be honest as the PSR-SX600 has some vital features cut from it and doesn't even have midi terminals I would either recommend paying a bit extra for a PSR-SX700 or get a used Tyros 2.
@@LittleRichard1988 You can still get a Tyros 3 cheaper than a SX-700 though. I think it's at Tyros 4 that prices begin to compare to SX-700 right now. And that's probably a much better option at that price too.
I think I will chose the 600. Its newer and lower chances of breaking down. Has 100% the sound of Tyros 2, 80% the sound of Tyros 3, and some few sounds from Tyros 4. And also has newer styles.
comparazione palesemente contraffatta. la T2 risulta equalizzata in maniera migliore che la T3. Altrimenti i suoni avrebbero dovuto essere gli stessi. Yamaha non produce versioni aggiornate delle proprie tastiere peggiorandone i suoni.
ca sa se uite 5 oameni dincare 3 manelisti si sa imi aud injuraturi de la 20 adica mai multidecat auvazut clipul ? nuuuu.... Daca o sa avem vreodata o comunitate si o societate care sa respecte munca si timpul unui om dedicat cu atata efort pentru a face asa ceva , probabil , dar nu cred ca in urmatorii 30 de ani o sa fie cazul si nici ca se va avea loc un miracol in ceea ce priveste Romania.

How to fix keyboards of tyros 2 that no voice or sound?

i think they are just foam pads to rest his wrist on for comfort tbh (or perhaps cover a mark too lol)
nice review! but I think the tyros 3 is a bit quiet the 2, so in the comperison it soudns wicker...
IS the sound of the tyros 3 on a 1 band compresor only and the tyros 2 is o 3 compresor bands. The tyros 2 is more dinamic.

Tyros 2 is a beast! Tyros 3 has very nice movie styles and SA2 voices like irish pipe - very beautiful but Tyros 2 has something magical
