    Main reason people say that German cars have reliability issues is because too many people don't maintain their vehicles. I change my Audi oil every 3k miles, all fluids flushed and changed every 2 years, etc. Take care of your vehicle and it will save you lots of money in the future. These German cars drive like a dream and the interiors are awesome. Yeah I could buy a cheap Toyota, but that's extremely boring! Mine has the 3.0 supercharged engine and it has been very good to me.

    • @erickvalladares7679
      @erickvalladares7679 Před 6 lety +8

      Agree... Im NOT rich at all, but I think I have enough to keep up with my love for cars.
      I bought the same Audi for daily driver and 1 year later: bushes were torn ("not able" to drive straight [it is NOT alignment]), "oil pressure" light dont stop bugging if you really push the car (but car always works ok), no able to use VAGCOM's "hybrid readings", cannot fit 4 people with 5'10" height (or taller) if planning to drive for more than 1 hr (cabin is very small) cheap plastics (sun visors clips, sunroof cover, window switches, lock switches, rear armrest break very easy), "fast" but not fast (lost* against many stock 335i and similar cars), transmission "slips" on 1st gear on very hot days and or bumper to bumper traffic, upgrades are crazy expensive (except for the simplest upgrade of pulley), also, if you want professional installation you will not find many Audi experts and if you find one they will make your bank account bleed... and repairs... forget about it... like somebody said "have to sale your kidney in ebay" (love that analogy!!! 😂)
      ....but yes, is a very good looking car... when you say "that's my car" some people go 😮... Quattro is impressive on twisties and driving on roads with bad weather (here is when the * above does not apply, because most likely you will win [if you are brave enough to drive fast to not be ridiculed by others])... In other words, if you LOVE the car and have deep pockets, go for it, if not stay away from it.... there are other many cars that, althought they are not Audi, will give you way better performance and/or comfort/luxury for less price, less cost of maintenance, and more important, less headaches!!!!
      Im an Audi fan (believe it or not) but next time I think about a used DAILY driver, it will be a Q50 Red Line or a Stinger, possibly a Genesis G70.
      Non-daily-car: yes, you bet/you are absolutely right: A6 3.0 or R6 (I wish I could afford a RS7!!! 😁)
