Akbar got confused could be of various reasons , the household he brought up in was not on right Islamic beliefs , his assistant was Shia, he mingled with other religions priests without even learning his own religion .
Islam by nature is the most tolerant religion.
It didn't spread with war , if you study history , in olden times every other country was on fight with other countries.
It was always power and survival struggle.
Islam does call to the worship of one and True Creator that is worthy of worship.
It's last message to the humanity i.e Quran from the All Mighty All Wise is a message that's gives you all the answers which humanity is looking for .
So with open mind learn about the message of Islam.

With my Rationality I read vry well my biological & physics book & understand the process of creation which is far far more interesting & mack sense than any religious book.My country is non muslim mejority hence we don't have any book or teachers who bring religion in everything nor my school tell not to read or believe any particular chapter. 🤭
