I recently found your channel here
Had previously found the dining table in this video in Pinterest and it inspired me to get the same kind of table
found mine on Facebook market
But I’m having such a hard time refinishing it as it’s my first attempt at this and my table has damage veneer
Can you please tell me what color stain you used on yours? any other tips you can offer will be greatly appreciated ☺️
By the way… l love the color palette you use in your decor

Hi Alina! How damaged is the veneer? It it’s missing large chunks then it might be best to patch with Bondo or wood filler and paint! You can glue veneer back down with wood glue if it is just splitting or lifting in a few areas! I used Special Walnut diluted by half with Mineral Spirits because I wanted a very light stain!

It has random small places where you can see the mdf/particle material underneath. They are for most part small, some are long-slim lines. I’ve filled them all with plastic wood. I’ll have to try diluting the stain, I happen to already have special walnut and mineral spirits. Hoping the damaged spots are not too noticeable.
