- No one knows Just Passing Through like Cyrus Sutton. And in the latest chapter of Cy's adventures, he's customized his van for experiencing life on the road. Through cutting, sanding, welding, and staining, he's transformed his old van into a unique camper that's been helping him traverse the Western side of North America to seek out good waves and good people. Reef is proud to partner with Cy on his new project, "Compassing," a film chronicling his recent van travels.

We too did what Cyrus did. Sold everything to surf and hike our way to Panama in our homemade truck camper. We produce a vlog twice a month.

This video pretty much changed my life. I was working a job that I hated with a boss I hated more. I came across this movie and watched it over and over. I quit my job, I sold all my shit, my fancy car and bought an empty van, converted it and started touring. I traveled Australia sleeping in the van, then sold the van. With the money from the van I bought a one way ticket to europe. Ended up in Poland for 8 months, met the girl of my dreams, both flew back to Aus, I got my dream job, got married and bought a house. Once and a while you just have to say fuck it and ride the tide and see where it takes you...

Yeh i saw that, looks like two rows of holes drilled on each side. They must be more than just drilled holes to or the board would take on water. Maybe it helps with nose riding?

I've barely surfed and every time it's something. more common is hitting rocks, I've actually had an urchins needle stuck in me but that wasn't bad as It wasn't a live urchin
