Yes! I feel like, unless you were someone who struggled to read, you're probably not going to remember.
I loved your answer to why you love reading. I've thought about starting a CZcams channel, but I have noisy kids. I'm also afraid of negative comments.
I totally get that. Thankfully most people do seem to be really kind and welcoming, but I'm sure there will be those who are not so kind. And yes, the camera and mic pick up *everything*, which is why I have to have the kids out of the house when I film, but that's not easy for everyone to do (not even for me at times!).
Welcome to Booktube! I mostly like fantasy and horror. I enjoy manga as well. I have been making my way through Song of Ice and Fire.

Yay for Betty Ren Wright! I loved her books when I was young. But I’m the same, can’t do ghost stories now.
Yay, someone else who's heard of her! And it's funny how that works though: what we loved as kids we don't always love or can't enjoy as adults.
I also read some of everything. I've always hopped around genres a lot.
Yes! I could never limit myself to just one or two genres. There's just too many good books out there! 😆

Thank you! And I hope you enjoy her books if you do pick them up. Her most popular one (at least when I was growing up) was The Dollhouse Murders. That one and The Pike River Phantom were the ones I enjoyed the most as a kid.

I've heard of the Choose Your Own Adventure books, but not Choose Your Own Horror. I probably would have loved those as a kid, but there's no way I could do that now 😅

I'm also not a romance reader. My most read genres are classics, sci-fi, fantasy, historical fiction.
Ironically, those tend to be my most-read genres too!
