If India goes to play in Pakistan if it hosts Champions trophy it will severely disappoint indian fans. The amount of anti india feelings which reached toxic levels during T20 WC 2024 to the extent one former pak captain accused India of cheating, is unbearable. Also indian player won't be safe their. Any security situation involving indian team might even lead to armed intervention by India. Might even lead to fullscale war.
If Pakistan is able to develop the infrastructure and guarantee the security, then they can very well host it. However, it seems like a challenging task for them due to the ongoing issues.
