In simple words, we should stop expecting good acting from kids who were bought up in mansions, Rolls Royce, and never stepped on this planet bare foot. Their parents or grandparents had done that struggle and that's what shaped them as stars we know.
These star kids have never come out of their cocoons (comfort zone) and they think they can act.
No doubt some directors are friends to their parents or grandparents so they have an obligation to sign their kids and launch them
Absolutely not. I think they'll eventually become good actors. A businessman passes on his entire wealth to his son no matter if he's smart or not. Let them take their time. It depends on us, the audience if these star kids make it big or not. Don't be too harsh on them

This movie is a record of sorts in which no actor was paid, instead the parents of these actors paid to all the staff including the director and even the producer,,for the producer this was one of the most profitable as profit was ensured even before the making of the movie began..

They have captured the atmosphere and essence of the Archies books much better than ‘Riverdale’. The set , the costumes , the music were good too. We are far from ever being movie critics but if we were to judge it so critically, then we should have a solid opinion about the good aspects of film as well or any kind of art for that matter. Comparisons to Priyanka/Kareena’s movies that they did at this age don’t make sense at all , as they were movies from a completely different genre. Everyone jumping onto this bandwagon of hating and trolling without ever actually being put on the spot is absolutely unnecessary. It was fun watch. Loved the fact that it was a musical as well.The actors who played Reggie, Dilton , Ethel and the rest of the supporting cast definitely did a good job. I think that shouldn’t be dismissed.

It’s worth watching in English which completely matches the fashion of that era. People who love music and retro vibes will surely appreciate the hard-work. Apart from movie, Suhana has been trolling all across but a shoulder tap to this young teenage star kid for keeping herself “Mujhe Koi Farak Nahi padta” state of mind.

It's like a combination of West Side Story meets Grease. Also The Archies along with Alvin & The Chipmunks, The Partridge Family and The Blues Brothers hold the distinction of having hit records although they didn't actually exist.
Amitabh's grandson, Shridevi and SRK's daughters together proved that acting and screen presence is a talent not a property that you inherit from the family. What a lame debut. All the PR hype around brought me here and I'm convinced that bollywood spends more money and resources on the PR built-up than screenplay and acting.

The visuals and aesthetic look good and the music sounds fine, but the acting feels so wooden and souless. Especially Khushi kapoor, she says her dialogues like she's speaking hindi for the first time in her life.

i watched this, and it’s obvious the budget was very high but just not used in the right way. It’s always disappointing seeing movies with potential end up being poor because of the plot line and script. Other than that the cinematic and scenery was probably the best I’ve seen in a long time, a VERY cute small town.

It’s like a team of SO many people, a majority talented, such as the scene director, cinematographer, set decorator, casting crew who managed to hire children of top celebrities (albeit they weren’t good actors), but it all goes down to waste by the few people in charge of scripting if the actual story line itself is so poorly written. A 2 hour long potato time lapse, even if it has the best cameras and music in the whole world, will still just be a potato time lapse.
This whole movie being summed up- Hotel banana hai green park mein, star kids milke nahi banne denge, end of story
*Whatever this movie may be, its English dubbing (which is dubbed in a foreign language for the first time) done by American voice over artist is the best.* 👍

Suhana, agastya, khushi neither one of them can act, people are saying its their first movie, Ranbir acted brilliantly in his first movie sawariya. These kids just dont have talent.
I think they could have forgone the conflict, just kept it light and breezy like the original Archie comics. Teens roaming around carelessly getting into mischief, not bothered by outside events etc.
Then there is no plot for the movie then. There needs to be conflict of some degree for a film to work. If this is successful, they could spin off to a TV series.

I am watching it obviously at home, just as a pass time and to see what they have created.
And just a few minutes in, but I could see a single young actor who could act could be promising , the guy who played Reggie- on top of it he looks good too. Actually is the only one who has looks too, although no bias he was the only one since the start showing promise of ability to act, express and even dance!!
So there you go, they gave all nepos an opportunity and found 1 potential talent, so congrats!
