Dead Cells: An average day in 5BC

- Dead Cells is pretty hectic on the hardest difficulty, 5BC or 5 boss cells, as is the case with many roguelikes/roguelites. This video is a montage showcasing the gameplay of the soulslike and roguelike hybrid Dead Cells at the highest difficulty. If you haven't played Dead Cells before I would highly reccomend it if you like games such as dark souls and hollow knight.

The Dead Cells mastery experience is flawlessly cocooning and parrying the Giant with not only shields but reliably with the Iron Staff while also getting the shit beaten out of you by an oven knight

Hah, thanks! I must say, there is no "normal way" to play dead cells, and I have in fact found loads of people love using armapack. That said, I would certainly reccomend using a shield the "regular way" as I honestly would with any way to play the game; I personally think the best way to play dead cells is by always shaking things up.

What i like about this from a training perspective is that it really reinforces how important crowd control is
Especially at later bc’s
Learning how to deal with single targets is also extremely important, especially before 5BC, since because you aren't under time pressure, picking off enemies one by one by baiting them with the homunculus rune is a very effective practise. I like to focus on crowd control mainly because it just looks flashier and makes for better content. The importance of singling out enemies should not be overlooked; I'm just extremely reckless.

As someone who just started playing, I'm just trying to figure out how the fk you can see what's going on. I'm like trying to see through to what enemy you're fighting and you're busy getting perfect parry lol. It's so weird... the very first time I played this game (like 2 years ago) my buddy was watching/coaching me, I got the Electric whip thing and beat the whole game first try (with his advice). Now I'm revisiting it a few years later, I've played at least 40 games and haven't even come close lmao. I think the video that told me to always get cursed chests was not talking to noobs. Thanks for reading my rambling

As someone who just made 1bc after damn near three years of slumming it in 0bc hunting blueprints: this looks horrifying
Amount of using shield is incredible, i barely used shield in whole game and still beaten 5bc all bosses
Parrying is stylish and good for content, but this also proves that all playstyles are viable. Parrying is a very valuable skill to learn, but not using a shield is also possible.
She needs more POWAH to improve that jusmen cut

I had a serious problem with the hand of the king for the longest while, I think it was a problem with the switch version, but his attack hitboxes were jarringly out of sync with his animation, which lead to me parrying, or more often getting hit, full on seconds after, or before he would stab or swing his sword
Same update also broke the tarot card; electrokinesis, and it wasn’t spawning additional orbs no matter what
