  • See how you apply glue and learn how you can speed up its drying time before you attach a hair system. This particular hair system is an ultra thin skin one with a thickness of just 0.03mm. We recommend using glue since this skin is so thin. You may also tear the skin If you were to remove tape from it.
    Tony will then give his verdict after his hair has been cut.
    If you'd like to know more about he hair system Tony is wearing here then you can check it out on our website.

    I’ll never understand why these stylists put glue all over the scalp. It makes a major clean up for the customer. Use tape then glue for the hairline.

    Hi, I really like the wave/curl of this particular thin skin system. It seems to have more curl than other photos I've seen on your website. Are all skin systems the same wave/curl as this video?

    • @Lordhair
      @Lordhair  Před 3 lety +1

      Hi - glad you like the look of it! This a stock hair system and the curl and wave is actually the same across all our stock products regardless of the base material. It's 30mm. We appreciate that this looks curlier than that. So, it's best if you discuss the curl and wave with our customer service because you may find that a custom-made hair system would be better for you. Here is some information about what we can do: www.lordhair.com/custom-options/curl-wave.html.

    I have a few questions on the 0.03mm thin skin. 1) is it ok to use tape on side and back and glue in the front? 2) Any brand of tape and glue best for thin skin? 3) Is the hair using Remy Indian hair? 4) With proper care of detaching system and hair maintenance can this last 2 months or longer?

    • @Lordhair
      @Lordhair  Před 4 lety

      Hi again! A combination of tape and glue is fine and we stock various kinds of tape (but not glue). Here is one with the strongest hold times: www.lordhair.com/ultra-hold-tape-roll-1-inch-wide-12-yards-long.html. Which tape is best for you may depend on how often you intend to reattach your hair system.
      Our UTS hair system has non-Remy Indian hair and yes, with proper care, it could last two months but it's really down to the individual.

    Ok I have a really good question. I know you said you have to be careful with this new skin system that gives you realistic hairline. My question is what can and cannot do with this hair system? I am considering scalp pigmentation but this hair system made me curious as to what activities you can and cannot do because it's so delicate?

      fred they tear so damn easy. You have to be super careful. Brushing it and taking it off can be a pain, torn plenty of them.

      @@fredacton8165 We hope that goes well for you Fred but in the meantime we are happy to be a solution for you. If you're worried about the delicate nature of this particular base then we do make hair systems from thicker skins and tougher materials.

    Wow, this is a really good system. Just to understand for attachment purposes only glue will work on systems like this? I prefer tapes over the glue and tapes won't work on this system correctly.

    • @Lordhair
      @Lordhair  Před rokem

      Glad you like the look of it, Vishal! You could also use tape with this kind of hair system but whatever you use, be careful as this is a very fine and fragile base material.

    i have been wearing these for 10 plus years. love them but there is no way the attachment goes beyond a week no matter what you glue it down with. any tape is out of the question with these units . also they are not as fragile as posted. with some care they can last a year or more . as always more than one unit on hand is advisable

      Agreed!!! You can wear them for a week they start looking rough after five days. And I also agree that they last way longer than a month. I’ve been able to stretch mine six months not quite a year.

      Lordhair What about a thicker base with a tapered edge for the front hairline? You’d get a durable base for most of it, but then the hairline would look as seamless as the thin base. Does that exist?
