I have so much respect and love for artists like Petula Clark ....they are the generation who taught the world to think differently about age....they were the first generation who gave teenage artists recognition in this world and now they are the same generation giving older artists recognition in this world.....they changed the rules and created new choices and we all have longer happier lives because of them......Petula Clark is a true musician and artist and even after so many years in the industry, or maybe because of it, she is still producing work that is superior to a lot of her younger contempories.....LOVE YOU GIRL !!! .....Steve, 48, Manchester UK x x x

I was in Leeds at the Tour De France and could hear Down Town sung by of course Petula Clark. Whilst thinking it was just piped music, I started singing it to my self and then suddenly realised it was actually Petula singing live on a stage for a french satellite channel. I met her and she is such a sweetie, just the same as on this BBC presentation. I hope to hear her sing when she is 100. love Hayden x

Saw Petula last night at Birmingham Town hall,fantastic,what a performer,still has a fantastic voice.
